why do storm hurricane, tornado’s,water in a sink, or whirlpool in a creek or ocean spends counter clockwise

With hurricanes this is because of the Coriolis effect, where air moves at different speeds at different lattitudes.
With water in a sink and whirpools, it all depends on the shape of the drain. For example, my drain flows clockwise.
I don’t remember the reason for tornadoes. I have heard people say that it was because of the Coriolis effect, but others have said that this is not true.

That would be only on the northern equator. Go south of the equator and it will spin clockwise.
