Tornado Questions
1.) A category 5 hurricane in Tampa Bay, but you are riding out the storm in a hospital with a 30 foot storm surge outside.
2.) An 9.1 magnitude earthquake in one of the sturdiest structures in the world, however damage is possible.
3.) A tsunami with you standing on top of a balcony that is 50 feet off the ground.
4.) An F5 tornado again staying in a hospital building basement.
5.) A wild fire in California in which your house is in the path of the wild fire.
6.) A volcano
7.) An avalanche in which you have a place that is considered safe.

Give me the earthquake. Having a building fall on me seems like a quick death.

I would totally be down for going out by being washed away from a tsunami. But If I wanted to live I would totally take the tornado in a hospital basement. Virtually no danger at all.

i’d like to experience all of these actually…i’ve very nearly experienced #5. (it wasn’t in California, and the fire missed us by about a mile)

I would never pick the hurricane. Other ways are passable, but I would pick the tornado if there is a basement. Earthquakes can still hurt you no matter where you are in them, a tsunami can easily splash over a balcony, volcanoes, wildfires, and avalanches can destroy your home, whereas in the tornado you are in a hospital, not your house.
