Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. All are also dramatically less expensive places to live than California. If you don’t mind a little cold weather in the Winter add Nevada, and Utah to the list.

Hawaii but they do have tidal waves every few years. There is New Mexico or Arizona in the northern part which gets snow in winter but never gets really hot. If you dont mind rain Oregon is beautiful.

The San Diego, CA and Charleston, SC are good bets; Florida gets much hotter than you want, except up north in Jacksonville, where it will get a little cooler thanyou want in the winter.

Northern Michigan is usually free of tornadoes and hurricanes. Of course, we are prone to heavy snowfall and rainfall at times. That’s okay, though, because the lakes could use the water.
Most of the disasters we have here are political in origin.
