Tornado Questions
Yesterday I walked in on the very end of the weather. They were showing a satellite image of Wisconsin and saying something to the effect of it being a tornado scar. Also how does that happen?

It is the path of a very large tornado that normally downs so many trees that the path is visible on the satellite image. These paths or scars often are visible for a few years after the storm. A tornado path in northern Georgia was visible that way for 8 years after it occurred in 1974. The are most often seen when they occur in forests and knock down most of the trees in the path.
