What is a good "grabber" topic sentence for a topic on tornadoes?
im writing a research report for science class. we had to pick a type of natural disaster (i chose tornado) and then focus in on one (i chose the 1953, waco, texas one)
we need a "grabber" sentence for my introduction. it can either be an interesting fact or, we get more points for, like something that people know of but changed a little to fit your topic. for example, if you had a topic on a dolphin, you could say: "its a shark, its a fish, no its a dolphin!" just like "its a bird, its a plane, no its superman!" from a popular movie.
something like that. something from a movie, song, poem, book, story, etc etc etc! (: PLEASE HELP!!
thanks in advancee!
