What does it mean to repeatedly dream about tornadoes?

i’ve been having tornado dreams for years. i assumed it just meant i’m stressed or something, but i seem to have these dreams regardless of how i’m feeling :\

When I have repeated dreams, I pay attention to them & I’ve had many dreams about tornadoes. In my experience, for me personally, when I’m dreaming about the twisters, it usually means that some part of my life is in chaos & I feel like it’s out of control.
That could be anything from something like a test or exam to a major life-changing event like a death in the family. If I can’t figure out right away what’s bothering me, I get off to a quiet place and then do a little meditating. Being still physically and letting my mind randomly cast itself about from one thing to another. (Sometimes it takes a conscious prompt such as making a written list & using that during the meditation to move from one thing to another)
In any case, I’ll usually be able to determine what’s bothering me if I do that & once I’ve got the target problem pegged, then I can ask if there’s anything I can do about the problem. If so, then I take action & if I can’t do anything at all, then I realize & work toward accepting the fact. Once peace settles in spirit, then the tornado dreams usually stop until something else knocks me off balance again.
It’s hard to explain but I hope this makes sense. Email if you’re having trouble & you need to talk about it more, or if you need clarification. And remember, sometimes your surface feelings are just that. Surface. Sometimes you’re actually feeling differently subconsciously & that’s part of the identification process.

I am going to star your question because I had/have the same dreams for years as well. I can see the tornadoes and feel the wind….hear them and it is very scary. I always go in the basement…and they come through the walls sometimes….It is hard to explain everything.
now I know I have major anxiety…that is interesting..hmmm

Usually I don’t think symbolism in dreams means very much, but in this case I do. You probably have some anxiety. You can find an anxiety screening website with a search engine.
