at the points when you had them- how was your life, did you feel like it was spiraling out of control or total chaos?

Oooooohhhh! Once you find out please let me know! I’m constantly having tornado dreams! I’ll probably have one tonight since the subject was brought up!

you think about tornados a lot thats what it means. You should look into it and be a storm chaser.

I bet it’s just your subconscious expressing an underlying fear you have about tornadoes. As a fellow Midwesterner, I can understand.

That’s a great question! I’ve been through the exact same thing. All my life I’ve had dreams (or nightmares) about tornados. I’ve never been in one, but have always been fascinated (and terrified) by them.
I read somewhere that it means that a main aspect of your life is changing. But, I’d like to hear other answers

From my research and experience, I have tornado dreams when I’m feeling insecure about something – job, family, crisis of faith, etc. I’ve had tornados chase me down between houses (literally making a 90 degree turn in order to follow me) and I’d try to hide from them.
If you have a record of when they happened, look at what might have been going on in your life that left you with uncertainty, or emotionally twisted up. That might help you interpret them better.

I have had tornadoes in my dreams off and on all my life. I live in CA..A tornadoe is representative of a major change, sometimes good sometimes bad. Sometimes it is just the brain taking random images and placeing them in a dream just because.

If you have not seen any tornadoes movies, it could mean that your life may be in chaos or you may have difficulties and you need someone to be with you to clear the confusion and problems. You may be unease while dreaming.
To deeply analyze your dream, your background, and childhood and things going around should be examined. Just saying dreaming tornadoes can’t be interpreted that easy. I have interpreted a couple of tornadoes, you can view my last one. The dream was more in detail and was easy for me to analyze.

Feels like they represent emotional turmoil, or turbulent winds of change approaching.

I have tornado dreams too every once and a while. Guess when they occur. Spring and Summer. Guess where I live. Midwest. Why do we have these dreams? Because we think about tornadoes, even when we sleep. You’ve mentioned you’ve had watches and/or warnings, but never experienced a tornado. Your dreams are your brains curiosity of what one might be like. I’ve never been in a tornado, but often wondered about what that would be like. In my dreams, I have often been hit by a tornado. Your dream is simply what your mind is thinking when you’re sleeping. Don’t chase crazy explainations unless they’ll help you better yourself.
