websites to locate previous weather conditions?

Tornado Questions
I would like to know if a tornado actually did touch down in camilla, Georgia, and if so, was much damage reported? any sites with content related to this?

I like to use http://www.wunderground.com for this. They have an interactive special tornado site that allows you to click on all the reported tornadoes across the US and it tells you about it and even includes the radar when the tornado passed through. Some even upload photos of the tornado or following damage done.

Local weather forecast offices are responsible for confirming suspected tornadoes. Link is to the home page of the Tallahassee forecast office, which issues forecasts for southwest Georgia. Severe storm information will usually be headlined at the top of the page. More information can be found by scrolling down the left-side frame to "Climate," then clicking on "Local." "Storm Event Database" and "Storm Data" then link to searchable storm databases.
