Tornado Questions
Hi. Lately when I have been trying to download torrents I am unable to actually get them to work. I download the .torrent file, but instead of the little BT (BITTORNADO) logo being the file icon, it’s just a blank sheet. Then when I try to open them with Bit Tornado I keep getting a "got bad file info" error in red and it doesn’t download. Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks

Are you sure it isn’t your ISP blocking illegal downloads? More and more ISP’s are doing this and it will be mandatory for them to do so in a year from now

How are you downloading the file, you using a web browser? Sounds like they are being corrupted at some point, it’s possible that the source file is corrupt, it’s possible that the browser is corrupting them, it’s possible that the program is broken (try re-installing the latest version), it’s possible that the file type associations are wrong (re-associate the file type with bittornado) or it’s possible that the location you are saving the file to is faulty. So lots of options there, are there any other problems on your system that might give some more clues?
