Thinking about moving out of california to get into country life where should we move too?

My boyfriend and I have lived in california for too long we hate the city life we want to get far away from it as possible! We want a place that has good weather like no tornado’s we don’t care about snow, rain or thunder. There also has to have a lot of hunting areas and places to go ride horses. We were thinking wyoming so if you live there please tell me what its like!

Why not move to northern california rural areas which have fishing and hunting north of Sacramento in Colusa county or in Lake county. There are 54 counties to choose from. You can work at a horse rescue ranch up north. You dont have to leave California. I dont know about Wyoming.
