There’s been no reports on a tornado in my area but we were having severe thunderstorms and there was a tornado touched down in the field next to my house. It had moved over a little onto my side yard, and picked up the trash can and there’s trash and bags all over my yard now. It was only on the ground for about 30 seconds, but it was still a tornado. There’s trees down everywhere from it. I looked at NOAA and there’s no reports on tornadoes in my area, how can I report the one I saw?

I’m hearing bits and pieces about it but it all pretty much says Tulsa was intentionally built in between these big valleys to protect it from tornadoes. Does anyone know the story, or whether its even true?
And what would happen if a tornado formed within the valleys?

Ok I have a very large database of music. It is in one central location on my media hub. A lot of the songs are either missing album art, misspelled, duplicates and so on (basically the folder is like a tornado going thru a house). — I don’t care if the program burns (that’s what Nero is for) or that it will play the music for me. I’ve heard of Rinse, Music Management Software, Musicmatch Jukebox but none seem to be what im looking for unless I’m reading the program wrong. Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

–> A basic program that will remove dups, correct the spelling (by searching the net for correct info) and add album art to each song/cd.
***Forgot to add*** Some programs will search for dups if they are spelled (pretty close the same) but lets say a song is called "Nine Inch Nails – Hurt" and there is a song that is exact the same but spelled NIN-Hurt(1). That can sometimes throw the program off. Im looking for a program that can read between those lines or will take a few seconds to analyze each song and distinguish what is the same and what is not. Thank You!
I have Media Monkey – it does alright but looking to see if there are any other programs out there that might do a better job then ones I’ve already seen/used (Companies I’ve never heard but are highly known). Thanks for your input tho.

I believe no matter what happens, there will always be somebody who will say it hasn’t happened yet. And the possibility of anything happening from somebody saying it will happen, is only a matter of time. (Say this paragraph over 3 times and see if it still makes sense, I’ve almost completely forgot how to write it if say it were to get reported and deleted I wouldn’t know how to rewrite it.)

And when it does happen, am I to be recognized as a Prophet of some sort?

Hi, I currently live in san antonio and want to move some where in the same state ‘Texas’ just a diff city?

I been here 2 years and never seen a tornado and was wondering if you knew of any other city in texas with no tornados? And if so how long have you lived in that city, so I can determine if I should go or not.

My dogs have shelter outside but what if a tornado comes?
is it better for me to lock them up in the shed with food and water too keep them out of the storm or would it be better to let them stay in their usual environment to where they could run away from the bad weather or tornado if they needed too? Someone suggested me leaving them as they as in their usual shelter Just incase they needed to run away they would be able to have some type of chance instead of being shut in somewhere and not being able to run away if they needed?
If this sounds bad to people I am sorry but it’s not like it sounds. My dogs are well cared for, they get fed more then twice a day ( too much actually ) they go to the vet and get their shots and etc I was just thinking because i’ve never been in this situation and we are suposed to have alot of tornadoes heading our way. So please help and NO rude commments i will report you

Are next door neighbor has a storm shelter we go too but the guy is allergic to dogs and they have 3 kids but i don’t think all the kids are allergic just one but we can’t take the dogs with us and there isnt anywhere else to go

I live in a town 10 mins south of joliet. and on Monday they are predicting severe weather. and i was wondering where the highest chance of a tornado is. and what the rating is? any weather people who report in the chicago area please answer asap! thanks!

I know that such a thing does not even exist on the scale, and that size is not a determining factor in the classification of a tornado. However, it is historically accurate that tornadoes higher up on the F/EF scale have been larger. I also know that the Earth cannot generate such winds. I am speaking purely hypothetical, as in an apocalyptic scenario where the storms of other planets (i.e. Jupiter ) become possible on Earth. I’m a curious person.
Not to sound ungrateful for the answers I have so far, but it seems as though my question is more educated than its given answers. I would like an accurate size estimation, i.e. number of miles wide, and an accurate damage report, as in estimation of square miles covered and possible damage costs (though I admit THAT may be asking too much). Again, I am grateful for those who have taken the time to answer, I just have a more… specific answer in mind. Thank you.

I was reading an article on CNN and two kids (brothers) were both killed by a tornado and their bodies were found in a pond. Their parents were on the news crying….it was so sad.

A tornado just went through North Minneapolis, MN and after it hit people were already breaking into houses and gas stations stealing whatever they could get their hands on. The Japanese had a much more horrific event and not one case of looting was reported.

well iv posted a few questions on here already about these horses. The owner is being a real jerk to us. I found out he owns a large Business in they are really expensive and make a good profit. Well the Tornado hit April 27th and all his horses got loose. We have been trying to catch them for the past week. The sheriff has tried and a whole bunch of other people im the only one who has caught any. They are possibly sick from pesticides on the corn Field they are in and they are very skinny. One will have her foal any day now. The owner came off at first as being really nice when he came to see the first horse i was able to catch. But he called the horse a gelding and it was really a mare. I Said um… no i think its a mare? He put up quite an argument that both the flea bitten grays were geldings and brothers. I said no im looking at her right now one is a mare the other one is the gelding. Well he asked how were you able to catch her? I said i had a bucket of grain and she came right up. He said iv never fed my horses grain. I said well she is under weight why don’t you? He said she doesn’t need it he also said he doesn’t feed hay, Trim there feet or worm them. I said well horses need all of these he said they don’t. well when I caught 2 more horses he refused to come help me. And he also refused to tell me the name of his Business i don’t think he wanted me to know he had enough money to take care of these horses and to hire some one to catch them for him. well they got away because i didn’t have enough help. These horses feet rae so terrible i don’t think any of them have been trimmed in several years if at all. One bay mare has a hoof split all the way up to the band and they are very long. The older horses are in very bad shape. They have never been lead around or broke to halter or trailer. We are reporting the owner because he stated he doesn’t properly feed these horses or give them vet and farrier care. He also left them out in the open on another mans property and government state property for the past 41 days knowing he could have payed some one to professionally get these horses. Do you think these are good enough reasons to report this man? i don’t think he is responsible enough to take care of these horses. The mare has had no care and is about to drop a foal in the middle of a corn field with pesticides all over it and he hasn’t even came buy to help us catch them. He said he has tried in the past but no one could catch them. He clearly has no use for these horses. Before the tornado hit he didn’t even have a proper fence up. A steep banked creek was all that was keeping them from entering the road.
also they have wounds all over them from the storm i can under stand that happening and not being his fault. But the feet are terrible they cant just get like that in a month its not possible this has been going on a lot longer than that. Also they have grass on one side of the road but that’s all. So they are still getting the same amount of food out side as they would at there home so i no that’s not why there skinny. He has not been feeding them correctly and you can tell very easily that they need more food. He said he just turns them out in a pasture and leaves them there.
Also if he has money why would he not feed his horses. That’s what made me mad about him owning as ucessful buisness.
yea im not sure how to go about doing it. Should i just tell the sheriff? He has already seen the horses once.
because the 2 arabians were more familiar with humans i suppose. They came closer to us i slipped the rope around her neck and and managed to get her on the trailer.

I know that some houses have basements but a full city. With an entrance to the outside. (But airports are outside ) and people have to be shuttled into underground city. If a tornado hit some minor structures will be damaged but , with an airlocked door to the ourside people would be safe for a couple of hours.good idea?

I have an strong interest in extreme weather. I would love to be on the scene researching these strong storms such as tornado’s, hurricanes, severe storms, everything. They are just so fascinating to me! The only thing I am not really interested in is reporting the weather on television or on the radio, but anything else would be awesome! I’m in college right now, what could I possibly study relating to this? and what kind of jobs are there that you know of? I appreciate your input, thanks:)

Today is just not my day. My mom left the computer open because she was downloading facebook photos (of course -.-) I needed to use the computer to check some Sims 3 updates on A WHOLE DIFFEREN’T APP. It wasn’t Safari. Then my mom came in and was like OMG I WAS DOWNLOADING FACEBOOK PHOTOS WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM WHERE ARE THEY?!?!?! She was acting like a tornado torn down the house. Anyways i said WITHOUT yelling "mooom stop freaking out its fine" and then she slapped my shoulder really hard as if bricks fell on it, then she started yelling crap ._. Before you say, you should’ve asked ur mom to use the computer, you should’ve left the computer alone, etc I never play around with her stuff or close/log out! And if i need to use Safari i open another tab or window. If you think thats bad my mom X’s the stuff i was doing and then she goes on without asking! For example if im watching videos and i go to the kitchen to make popcorn she would X out and go on facebook -_- this also happens with my brother whenever he fixes a snack he always comes back to find my mom going on facebook. Idk where my mom get this from maybe she’s watching more MTV than me idk. P.s after my mom hit me in the shoulder i went upstairs and cried (im on my period sorry for tmi) and my stomach has been bothering meee

I Have alot of pictures of me and I have like 8 albums! Titled Summer, Spring, Me, Just ME, ETC.. All boring! I want something creative, something christian would BE GREAT! Im really frustrated right now! In Nancy drew trail of the twister I have finished the mice thing and put them in the spring house.I went back to the farmhouse, & talked to debbie but she didnt say anything. My first symptoms of anxiety started at the age of 9, when after seeing some reports on TV about tornadoes forming around my town I started being afraid that whenever it was cloudy there would be a tornado even though I live in an area supposedly free of tornadoes. I panicked a lot whenever it got cloudy and would often be scared. I can’t remember how long it lasted.

Now I’m 16 and have been a hypocondriac for 2 years almost with frequent panic attacks.

Is it possible for anxiety disorders to start for almost no reason during childhood and to just be absent for a couple of years afterwards? Also, is this an indication of a heart problem? I heard certain heart problems can cause anxiety. I did get checked out by a doctor regarding my heart. She ordered an ECG which was normal and she said she heard no abnormal heartbeats when she listened to my heart.

I have a facebook re: photos found in the debris of the Joplin Tornado. I have "liked" a lot of related pages, but when I have a update or info I need to post on other groups, I have to manually go to each page and post the link/info. Is there a way to post to pages I have liked or do I have to go to each one and copy/paste the link?

This takes SO much time, but has to be done!
