i have been working nights and out of town lately and i have little to no time lately..
anyhow im in phoenix arizona right now
im staying at a hotel that is about a mile away from any shopping centers or anything.. i was bored so i went for a walk in yesterday in 105 degree weather….(jesus christ)..
as i am heading to the store i see a little boxing gym called HAMMER boxing.. i walk in look around.. in my head i can beat ANYBODY in this gym.. i chalk it up to a cardio gym and went on about my business..
blah blah, we end up having to stay until tomorrow..
so today i am walking to the "hooters" restaurant in the shopping center.. i stop by the gym and say, "im from out of town, california, i wanted to maybe get some work in today"
trainer, "you have experience?"
thug, "yeah i fought amateur before"
trainer," are you the guy who just called here?"

so round one starts…. this guy was like 17 or 18 years old about 5′5” 130 pounds… i threw a crisp jab and for the rest of the round i was like a moving punching bag!!!! focks sake this kid was cracking me clean!!! lol i was laughing kinda when he was hitting me cause i felt so sloppy.. i havent worked out in 3 weeks and i am ALL out of shape.. i didnt have my legs either, i think part of it was my shoes.. and i was hungover from the bar last night on my way to get my first meal of the day, so i was at like 50%
ok so im in the corner and i say, "man i am out of shape"

whenever i throw a jab he rushes me w fast combos.. really overwhelming me!! i got hit with like a 15 punch combo!!! i was in a focking tornado of gloves!! like somebody had a trash bag full of boxing gloves and dumped them on me!!! lol.. you know, like when you see a fighter getting hit with combos and they dont even know what is coming next, lol, that was me… i started to time him and catch him w the left hook.. but he still kicked my butt..
i was dead tired after round 2 that was it for me…

anyhow summary, these fools rolled out the red carpet for me to spar because they thought i was some hot shot from california.. i was wondering how the f*** i was able to get in the ring that fast!! they gave me a free mouthpiece.. they were representing arizona against california, but i was just a guy walking in NOT that guy.. they told me i got balls of steel for stepping in there.. tht i have a great jab.. gave me a couple of pointers.. they invited me to come back whenever i want.. that they were impressed and they need guys that can spar, but i need better cardio.. i kew i was out of shape but i thought it would be easy.. WRONG!!!! my nose is swollen a little but im cool.. we work nights so i havent been able to really do anything, but at least i have a story for arizona…
anyhow what do you think? is that crazy or what? why does crazy stuff like that happen to me??

your right.. i was at the right place at the right time.. i wouldnt of ended up anywhere else if it wasnt meant to be.. of all the hotels in phoenix i end up right by a boxing gym.. and i got to spar w a pro.. i lost but so what!! i love it!!! i was full of myself and had a humbling experience.. no regrets.. i love boxing.. i wasnt physically prepared as i thought i was.. but i am back on a steady schedule after tomorrow, so its back to my grind..

i had a dream that up the road everyone in my family besides my mom ( dad brother and sister) were all in a video games type of thing. and each level was harder to survive. a giant figure that looked like scream was over us and it was almost like a tornado sucking us up his dress thing. and it was harder to stay on the ground each time. and my dad was the last one with me and then i was all alone in the game. he couldn’t "suck" me up with the tornado so he started chasing me and suffocated me. what does this mean?

Hi. Lately when I have been trying to download torrents I am unable to actually get them to work. I download the .torrent file, but instead of the little BT (BITTORNADO) logo being the file icon, it’s just a blank sheet. Then when I try to open them with Bit Tornado I keep getting a "got bad file info" error in red and it doesn’t download. Can anyone help me out with this?

I’m from California and I moved here to western South Dakota quite awhile ago and I never experienced such violent weather! It seems there is a severe thunderstorm warning/tornado watch every week. When the weather forecast says there is a possible chance of severe thunderstorms it completely ruins my whole day and I spend all freakin’ day checking the weather. But whenever a storm does hit I completely panic and run for the basement, the lighting and thunder scares the hell outta me. The high wind gusts petrify me because I keep thinking, "Is that a tornado coming?! What’s that sound? Is that a tornado?!" haha. I can’t be doing this every time it thunderstorms, it’s taking a big toll on me. I have to live here for another year so I need some advice on how to just relax.

Ok, so, I only have limited time to type this and pay attention to this question, because in the next 10-15 an "extremely violent tornado is headed straight for me, and it’s an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation." A severe thunderstorm generated an EXTREMELY severe tornado, and it’s expected to be a violent F-5!!! I was recently under a SNOW emergency and now a freakin’ tornado emergency! Ok, so, the point is, I have no-where to go! I am basically in the middle of the woods, and I have no basement because a few years ago we had a big fire and it destroyed our basement. Our bathroom has about 3 windows, and of course I can’t go outside and duck because there’s thousands of trees around me. Please help!!! Thanks.

Antonio Margarito’s co-manager, Francisco Espinoza, spoke with reporter Reymond Colon, and said the "Tijuana Tornado" was delighted with the recent news that WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto was open to a rematch. Margarito knocked Cotto out in eleven rounds two years ago.

After Margarito was suspended for loading his gloves prior to a January 2009 bout with Shane Mosley, heavy doubts began to hang above his win over Cotto. Espinoza says a rematch would prove that Margarito was a honest fighter in the first Cotto fight.

"I thought he was never going to agree to a rematch, and what’s important is the fight benefits Margarito as much as it does Cotto. There are some aspects that make this more interesting than the first fight. And the people would realize that Margarito has always been conducted in an honest manner, and this would provide him with the opportunity to show it," Espinoza said.

Espinoza is not sure if they should go straight for the Cotto rematch, or try to win the vacant WBC junior middleweight title and then hold a unification with Cotto. Margarito is the #2 ranked fighter under the WBC. Espinoza expects the santioning organization to soon issue an order for Margarito and the #1 ranked Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to fight for the title. He doesn’t expect Chavez Jr. to take the fight. More likely is a third meeting with the #3 ranked Kermit Cintron.

Before anything can happen, Margarito has to get approved for a license to box in the United States.

"This coming month we are going to go to the commission in California. I believe that we more or less fixed the situation. In January, Tony complied with a year of suspension and we are almost in July. He sat out an additional six months," Espinoza said.

Espinoza was impressed with Cotto’s recent big win over Yuri Foreman on June 5.

"He looked impressive. He did very well and looked strong. I thought that it was going to be a hard fight since Margarito could not drop Daniel Santos and Foreman did. I do not know if was simply that Santos had a bad night, but I thought that it would be a hard fight for Cotto. Instead it was one of his easiest fights," Espinoza said.

This is kinda like a "what if" question. This is a horrible disaster, and it is hurricane season. Would oil "get" into the rain, since water evaporates, to form rain? Some people criticize Bush for "not doing enough" during Hurricane Katrina, but doesn’t the president have a very busy agenda all the time? Plus, some people say Bush was supposed to land the plane in the flooded areas — how?
Also, wouldn’t that have prevented National Guard troops from getting the aid and perishables through that (limited) supply lines in the affected areas?

It’s kind of a big security deal if the President of the United States lands a plane somewhere dangerous… it would have been a clear distraction…

More importantly, didn’t the government already GIVE advance warning to the New Orleans residents to move out? 80% of the residents did, but of the few that refused to, why should the government be blamed for someone’s irresponsibility to follow directions?

Over the past few years, I have heard 50,000 excuses for why gas prices have gone up, including:
1. An oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico that was destroyed during a hurricane,
2. Christmas season…people travelling,
3. Summer….people travelling,
4. Summer…the additive that environmentalists want us to put into gas in hotter months to make it burn cleaner,
5. Chavez is controlling the supply from his end,
6. The war….we use up all the gas in Iraq,
7. OPEC is raising prices,
blah blah blah, etc etc etc…..

The newest excuse as of last night, news stations reported that the DEVALUATION OF THE DOLLAR is to blame for these terrible prices.

Is there anyone else that feels like we have to accept these prices, just like we accept the WEATHER, and the fact that we can’t control it?

Anybody think we CAN control the price of gas?

Do NOT answer with "just don’t buy gas".
The nauseating thing is that if we switch to Ethanol, we will drive up the cost of all grains, and that will make cereal and meat prices skyrocket…that’s what’s happening right now. (livestock eat grain, and so do people, but if it is all tied up in making ethanol, there isn’t enough supply).

And, in the end, no matter what cheap energy source we use, some company will find a way to charge us an arm and a leg for it, because of their own greed,

OR, the government will find a way to impose dozens of taxes on it. If the price and availability of wind turbines ever reaches acceptable levels, I’m sure that the gov’t will find a way to tax the WIND.

I was in my bed sleeping after that painful heartburn I just had, and then the windows shattered,shaked, and literally moved!!!! I got up and sneeked outside the windows, but I didn’t open them, it was like a HURRICANE!!!! Then I saw this funnel in the sky and then hail was falling down, only a small amount. Since I am one of those people who take their video camera with them and sometimes film even though its not like a vacation or something, I had my camera with me and then I recorded the funnel first, then the hail on the ground, and then, came the worst, wicked nightmare!!!!! The tornado itself came coming down slowly from the funnel, I quickly called 911 and they said as usual "911 what’s your emergency?" Then I screamed and said "WHAT DO YOU THINK!!!!!????? DON’T YOU SEE IT!!!?????" then the man said "What is your emergency?" then I said "OK OK DON’T SEE IT, THERE IS A FREAKING TORNADO OUTSIDE, I’M IN SOUTH FLORIDA FT. MYERS AND THE STORM IS FREAKING BAD AND HAIL’S ON THE FREAKING GROUND AND MY WINDOWS ARE SHAKING AND……" he stopped me and said "Ma’am, is anybody hurt? Can you see outside if theres anybody, or even any animal?" I looked outside real carefully and shivered "YES, OH YES, I SEE SOME MOTHER AND HER CHILD RUNNING IN THE SIDEWALK, SHOULD I GO OUTSIDE AND HELP HER?" then he said "IS THERE ANY MAN IN YOUR HOUSE OR OUTSIDE?" then I quickly said " NO, NO, NO NO MALE" then he said in a calmed voice "Ok, I need you to do this for me okay? Get any pan you see in your house, cooking pan, any pan, now put it on your head and get a towel, two of them, preffered warm" then i said "OKAY OKAY, THEN WAIT, AM I GONNA GO OUTSIDE?" then he said "Yes, don’t be scared, now go to your front door, and open it fast and close the door quickly" I had my phone in my hand and said "IM GONNA KEEP THE PHONE IN MY HAND, OKAY?" then he said "Okay" I went out. Good he said to put a pan in my head, because hail actually fell and hit the pan, which could have been my head!!! I got the two towels and wrapped it around the woman and the kid. I brung them at my house and they where okay. Then the mother said "oh my god thank you so much!" the kid didnt say anything because she was scared. And remeber that I left my camera in the window and it was recording everything, even me saving both of them. I had to do something to protect my house and my pets and people. But i couldn’t, good my house was strong. "HELLO? I HEARD SOMETHING" said the man in the phone. I quickly got the phone and said "THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP, THE MOTHER AND KID ARE FINE, I DON"T SEE ANYONE OUTSIDE, THANK YOU SO MUCH" he said "Your welcome, we will be putting a tornado warning now" I sighed and told the woman and kid to join me for lunch because they havn’t eaten anything, they trusted me, such nice people.

Yankee S. I disagree. Global warming caused the snow in New England for the playoff game against the Raiders, leading to Brady fumbling and leading to brain-freeze by the referees. This, in turn, led to the "tuck rule" debacle, which handed the game back to the Pats, allowing them eventually to win their Super Bowl. So without global warming to cause the blizzard, the Pats would not have won it that year.

So many times, I hear people talk about how they couldn’t live in California "because of the earthquakes." Well, we just had a 5.8. It was the first quake I can even remember in the last five years… no deaths or even reported damage yet. The last SERIOUS quake we had was over 15 years ago, and while it did do some serious damage up north, I was so far away that I slept through it. Now…. hurricanes and tornados are a different story. Hurricanes destroy whole sections of the country, and tornados are even deadlier because of the lack of warning. Granted, there’s virtually no warning for earthquakes, but I’ve been here 28 years and never even been affected by one. What are some of your opinions?

California: Got woken up by the Northridge quake fifteen years ago; class was cancelled today because of the quake; a tiny rumble that I barely even notice once a year or so, but fires that ravage the state every year.

My boyfriend and I were contacted by phone by the Vacation Store that we had won 1 of 5 prizes. 52" TV, vacations, etc. We were asked to fill out a "prize claim form" at 202 Chrislea Street in Woodbridge, ON, along with a nice roast beef supper (Oh, you HAVE to have a combined annual household income OVER ,000). When we arrived, there were many other couples there. My understanding is that we did not win anything at all. The "PRIZE CLAIM" form was just basic personal info and if you had travel restrictions, NOT A PRIZE CLAIM FORM as we were told. My boyfriend DID have travel restrictions, and so we were brought into a room where the lady asked us to draw a ticket from a drum. HA HA HA!! It was a "trip" to Orlando Florida for 6 days, 7 nights ACCOMMODATIONS ONLY; ironically a trip we couldn’t take anyway because of TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS. We were then ASKED TO LEAVE and got no nice roast beef supper. So if someone named SARAH SILVA calls, or a man of the same accent (I think they are from Pakistan) HANG UP THE DAMNED PHONE. The poor suckers left at the seminar were being suckered out of 0 or more. YOU WERE WARNED. Please, please pass this on. It wasted our time; my boyfriends’ work time, and an unnecessary babysitter. It should be illegal the way they trick you into it. The TORNADO we almost ran into on the way there should have been a sign!! LOL. okay so i had 5 dreams that i remember from last night i will tell you which ones in the order i am worried about i guess.

1. okay so i am 13 and there is this guy i like alot he is 11 though. but he doesn’t act eleven, but anyways i had a dream last night that he went missing. for 4 days. people asked me why i was crying and i would say -lets say his name is A(:- "A *sob, crys* is *sob crys*

2. (this is what really happened) my mom was pregnant last year and miss carried. (dream starts) So my little sister had this notebook. I found it. in real life she didn’t even know my mom was pregnant and still doesn’t. So i read the notebook and it said "I cant wait to have a baby sister. She is going to be so cute!" and i read the date at the top and it said "3-20-02" but my mom was pregnant in 08. and i brought the notebook to dani and she said mom was having a baby. and i said no shes not the baby died. Then we were crying ALOT and we could not stop crying.

3. i had this dream i was in a big open grassy field. (a plain?) So the clouds were Very dark and gray and there was a Tornado. not right by me a ways off but i couldn’t see nothing but feild so nothing was getting destroyed i was alone. i seemed sad. I was alone with a video camera. I was taping the Tornado.

Americans are accustomed to tornados & twisters wreaking havoc & destroying homes in the midwestern states like Oklahoma, Kansas, et.al. We hear about it in the news, we see video captures, and we see the devasted victims right here in our own country!

But, I rarely hear about tornados or twisters destroying homes & properties in Europe, Asia, or Africa. Aside from the occasional offshore "waterspout" tornados or hurricanes, I don’t recall hearing about a category 1, 2, or 3 tornado elsewhere in the world.

Surely, the U.S. isn’t the only area in the world where tornados exist!

Does anyone know if tornados FREQUENT elsewhere in the world (i.e.other countries)? Or is the U.S. climate and geological features just more suitable for tornados?
So, the meteorologist claims that tornadoes are NOT as common anywhere else in the world as in the USA; mostly due to our geological factors. He supports this by his expertise as a meteorologist!
I can go with that!

However, "pglenbrook" lists about every country in the world as experiencing tornadoes just AS COMMON and occurance as in the USA!
How can that be?

I don’t know if I am just being hyper but for the past three days he has been especially fussy, he does have a slight cough and has spit up some mucous (not much, and the weather is changing right now) and is really fighting going to sleep when he didn’t before. Some of the times he is spitting up the formula looks curdled–he has reflux and takes prevacid and is on enfamil ar specifically for the reflux (I cannot breastfeed–my milk supply disappeared since I had my baby during one hurricane and two weeks later had to evacuate again for another one–so that pretty much did me in!) Any ideas? I have a call in to the doc right now but I am looking for a little advice?
We live in Texas……hurricane alley! Yes, the reflux is not fun, and he is taking (and holding) down about 40 oz a day which seems like SO much. We do a little apple juice in the am to help with constipation but a lot of times he is insatiable. It seems too early for cereal but even if we tried that I think it would be overkill on his poor tummy, I guess you would have to give applesauce too, but not going to go there until I talk to the doc. I am just not sure if we are having a "reflux episode" or if there is something else going on. He burps well, he just can’t get comfortable and squirms a lot when he is trying to sleep. We have dealt with colic and I just don’t feel like that is all that is going on. I dunno, could just be sleep deprived!!!!

I hope no atheists take offense because I am just really curious and enjoy learning about people of different cultures. I remember a few years back the kids and I were alone in our trailer when the tornado sirens started to wail. Just then on the radio the weatherman said there was a twister headed our way and would hit us in less than five minutes. So to make a long story short we jumped in the pickup and headed for the trailer park’s community shelter. A group of us were huddled there in a panic, praying and crying. I remember somebody’s kid saying "if we all die at least we’ll go to Heaven together." Thanks be to God the tornado returned to the clouds before harming anyone or any property!

My question is how would an atheist face a similar situation? Since they wouldn’t pray, what would they do instead?

Well, I’ve never had this one happen before !!!!!
I’ve had people say that they attached pictures, and then they didn’t (they forgot), I’ve had poor quality pictures sent, but not this…. this is a first. LOL.

I inquired to an ad earlier about a TB mare… and they just replied to my email… with some more info and some pictures of ”her”……
One picture is of two guys at what appears to be a party, with a bunch of beers and their shirts off, and giving the camera a thumbs up…. LOL! And the other picture is of them taping some beer bottles together… (looks like they might be making one of those tornado things? I’ve done that before with a couple of empty forty bottles, but still… how strange…)

What should I say???? I mean I don’t want to blow it with what could be a good horse, but damn these pictures are awkward!

Just say "oh, you sent completely wrong pictures?". But then they will go in their sent box and see what the pictures were, and probably be embarrassed or something.

Well my teacher had us fill out this student info sheet and when it ased for an emergancy contact # I could do nothing but say that I do not know information and that all I knew was that was on file in the office. Well apperantly this was a grade and a significant amount of points was deducted from my grade all because I didn’t know certian info.

Also she made up this story about what if "There was a tornado and the place was blowing up and you were being rollled away on a stretcher and they tried both you parents and couldn’t contact them and they came up and asked you who else is there to call?"

and NO I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!

Do you think that it was fair for points to be decucted from my grade all because I didn’t know any emergancy contact # and all I knew that it was on file in the school office if my file ever made the transfer?

She’s a single mother of two and very poor. She lost her job due to a hurricane and had apparently sold her car about a week before the storm hit. She spent the money on buying supplies for the storm since she had no way to leave. FEMA is gay and will not help because she was living in a hotel. They didn’t even offer to help her pay to stay there. She is now working in the hotel she was staying at but they are paying her only 3 dollars a room to clean and its a small hotel. She needs a car bad and no one will help her or can help her. What can she do?

It is realy sad because they offered her food stamps but no way to get another job or back and forth to this job. Her EX never pays child support and he’s in jail so there will be no "going after him" he’s already in jail so they can’t do much there. POS CPS came to her hotel room after people reported she was prosituting and the kids were eating out of the garbage. This is F’D up since she would never prostitute and I help her buy food and i know there is always food there. CPS caseworkers should be shot IMO and they are lucky i was not there when they said these things. I respect this woman but I cannot help her with a car because I do not make that much. BTW this is the 4th time someone has called CPS on her and everytime they leave with no findings and everytime they never say "Sorry" ever.

I need answers and saving to buy one is hardly an option at this point, she needs to go back to work.
