Whenever there’s a natural disaster he blames gays (Katrina), lack of Christian belief (Japanese earthquake and tsunami, Indonesian tsunami), or something to do with god. What is his explanation for the tornadoes in the bible belt and the recent deadly storms?
1) "global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter."-Al Gore. Basic feedback loops refute that and the fallacy in this sentence.
2) "Global Dimming". Its basically more lies claiming that it slowed down evaporation. It says it masks the effect and slows of Global Warming. Are you telling me you have to invent a lie to cover a lie, unbelievable. It is said to be caused by aerosols and airplane contrails.
3) In the ‘supposed’ graphs of Climate Change scientists the CO2 concentration and temperature rise is linear since the 1850s. Yet we increase our emissions exponentially, again, no correlation between humans.
4) It lead to some Kooks printing a report that it will cause WW III. I really have no comment as it will never happen when there is nukes.
5) Many reports that our increase in tornadoes and hurricanes and increased natural disaster. Again they have been debunked as an increase in overall temperature will keep temperature difference the same as temperature difference is the main contributor to natural disasters.
6) Lets not forget false reports from the IPCC, fake chart scandals and interception of emails showing that its a scam.
7) 97% of 2000 people is not a worldwide consensus.
Remember 1970s global cooling scare.
9) The icecaps have thickened in some areas and the beach in some areas retracted opposing that it will ‘flood the coastline’.
10) Our Emissions are much smaller than the natural cycle and are off set by negative feedback loops.
11) ‘The consensus’ claims also we emit more in 50 years than a super volcano for thousands of years.( It took several feedback loops for the temperature to reach +10 over global average).
12) They also fail to acknowledge that glaciers were always in constant retreat.
13) It took volcanoes that emitted dust and ash to slow down cooling.
14) Sites to counter global skepticism has used weak arguments by 13 year olds, or has used the global dimming lie too. The IPCC also doesn’t accept GW skeptics.
15) There is much more greenhouse gases on Mars by mass and concentration than the Earth. If the alarmists are correct then there should be no dry ice on the planet however that’s not the case.
16) Alarmist also dismiss skeptics as bought by the oil companies buyouts.
17) The winters have been getting colder over the world, however they leave it out.
Automobile related – Broken down car, no insurance, tickets, etc. Decline in Public Assistance – Current TANF benefits and food stamps combined are below the poverty level in every state; in fact, the median TANF benefit for a family of three is approximately one-third of the poverty level. Thus, contrary to popular opinion, welfare does not provide relief from poverty. Divorce – Divorce often leaves one of the spouses homeless. Most often it’s the father, but sometimes it’s the mother and children or everyone involved. Domestic Violence – Battered women who live in poverty are often forced to choose between abusive relationships and homelessness. Drug and Alcohol related problems – Rates of alcohol and drug abuse are disproportionately high among the homeless population. Illness – For families and individuals struggling to pay the rent, a serious illness or disability can start a downward spiral into homelessness, beginning with a lost job, depletion of savings to pay for care, and eventual eviction. Job loss – No income to pay rent. Lack of affordable housing- The lack of affordable housing has lead to high rent burdens (rents which absorb a high proportion of income), overcrowding, and substandard housing. Lack of child support – In families where child support is ordered but not paid, the decrease in income can lead to an inability to pay rent, utilities, or both. Low wages – Declining wages have put housing out of reach for many workers: in every state, more than the minimum wage is required to afford a one- or two-bedroom apartment at Fair Market Rent. Mental Illness – Approximately 20-25% of the single adult homeless population suffer from some form of severe and persistent mental illness. Natural Disaster / Fire – Situations where due to chance a fire, tornado, flood or hurricane renders housing inhabitable. Physical Disabilities – Disabled individuals may be unable to work or find appropriate employment. For those receiving SSI, they often struggle to obtain and maintain stable housing. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – This disorder is common with veterans and those that have been in violent situations. It can make it difficult to have a stable life. Poverty – Being poor means being an illness, an accident, or a paycheck away from living on the streets. Roommates – When one or more roommates fall through with their end of the bargain, they can be a reason for others becoming homeless. Severe Depression – Can make it impossible for an individual to maintain a stable life. Tragedy – It is surprising how many people just quit functioning because their families died or were killed…sometimes recently…other times 15 years ago…other times 30 years ago. Not only can the above affect adults, it can affect the children and their education. Children deal with not only abuse or neglect, they also may run away. It is estimated that between 1.6 and 1.7 million youth run away or are forced to leave home each year. School is usually sought as a place of safety, unless you are homeless, then there are barriers. These barriers include being unable to meet enrollment requirements (including requirements to provide proof of residency and legal guardianship, and school and health records); high mobility resulting in lack of school stability and educational continuity; lack of transportation; lack of school supplies and clothing; and poor health, fatigue, and hunger. The numbers of who the homeless identify are shocking. The National Homeless Demographics is 45% are single men, 38% are families with children, 14% are single women, 3% are unaccompanied, 49% are African American, 32% are White, 12% are Latino, 4% are Native American, and 3% are Asian.
If You Live in Tornado Alley do you think you should have Tornado Insurance????
And if they don’t should they be bailed out by tax payer money when we are in debt????
Ron Paul Doesn’t Think so…..
"he doesn’t "like the federal agencies breathing down our neck," Paul argued against federal government insurance programs.
He said the federal government should not be going into debt to help in NATURAL DISASTERS;
if someone chooses to build a high-risk house on a beach and then loses that house in a storm, he said, it should not fall to the most risk-averse to pay for their decision. "
Please give me a list of things; supplies needed when natural disaster hit, AND AFTER a Disaster as in tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, flood, nd much more.!
In a natural disaster do you have some sort of plan of what to do next? Do you have family who you’d be able to rely on if you suddenly lost everything?
Hi everyone!I need all the help I can get so every ones answer is REALLY appreciated! In science we had to pick a paper out of a hat for our natural disaster project and everyone got the easy ones that you can get answers to with a click of a button! You know like hurricanes, tsunamis ,tornado’ss and volcanoes and stuff. Then freaken me I pick one and I get AVALANCHE!I was soo annoyed since theres barely any information on that and when I asked to switch she started yelling at me telling me there was no reason for me to switch. So basically this is what I cant get any info on what so ever for my powerpoint. What the are of where the avalanche happened would be like 1month,6months,and 1 year later! Then we have to have reference to a real event! If anyone could give me links to to how to get the info about these please list them below! And an event that really occured please.Thank you SOmuch.
Sorry guys I know what you mean by not understanding my question so what Im basically saying is I need videos or links of what the area of a avalanche would look like 1 month,6months,and then a year later. Then what are the effects the avalanche has on the land/environment.Thanks.
For anyone who hasn’t recognized the significance of the simple numeric comparisons above, Question 1 reflects BLS U3 unemployment data, as many I suspect have already recognized, for A. William Jefferson Clinton over 96 months (1/1993‒12/2000); B. George Walker Bush over 96 months (1/2001‒12/2008); C. Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro for 26 months (2/2009‒3/2011).
Since by now, most recognize U6 BLS data as what’s supposed to be the government’s most reflective figure reporting “real unemployment”, Question 2 is similar but with U6 numbers reported all the way to thousandths of a percent. So, using this more realistic and potentially more honest figure, once again the unemployment figures calculated by the Department of Labor and released through the Bureau of Labor Statistics show almost identical figures across eight years (96 months) of the Clinton and Bush Administrations, with Clinton’s figures actually coming in higher than Bush’s by 13 one thousandths of a percent. Then there’s U6 data from the current economic disaster attributed solely to Democrats thanks to their super majority. Answer C., which is obviously the dramatically larger figure, is an average of U6 data over 26 months of Obama’s [non] leadership (2/2009-3/2011). The 16.565 BLS real unemployment figure for this President reflects an 80.5% increase over Clinton’s rates and marginally more at 80.8% higher rate of real unemployment than Americans were forced to endure under Bush.
Perhaps what makes the figures even more amazing were the two unprecedented disasters the Bush Administration endured that were more costly to the country in terms of job losses than any other President has had to deal with over uncontrollable externally caused events. While Hurricane Katrina was the most devastating natural disaster occurring on American soil in history and the costliest by all accounts at more than 125 billion, that differed from the strategic attack and destruction of the Twin Towers along with costly, major damage to the Pentagon, which was anything but natural. The attack, which led to visible, raucous celebrations across much of the Muslim world, led to a direct response by determined leadership to address Muslim terrorists’ reign in Afghanistan and Iraq, and may have played a small role in the supposedly humanitarian armed conflict the current Administration has added as a third, apparently mostly nation building front.
Does it surprise some in the Y!A community to learn that until the first Democratic budget put in place by Pelosi and crew in 2007, President Bush had significantly more favorable economic and unemployment data, in spite of the two disasters, than his predecessor? The initial Democratic budget was in force as of July 2007, and far from uncoincidentally, the economy started showing signs of stress and a distinct downturn by the end of the budget year’s second quarter. With the second Pelosi led budget, the economy was in full retreat, and Bush’s unemployment and economic record would be reduced to a virtual draw statistically over the eight years, incorporating fully 96 months of data, while our prior two Presidents held office.
Okay, time to fess up. How many got the answers right, and how many of you knew what they were regarding ahead of any explanation? While it would seem inconceivable that anyone with an IQ of 80-90 or better should miss the simple comparative figures, we’re shown thousands of times daily by one group in Politics that either IQ or, where that’s not the determining factor, some measure of honesty is in short supply.
Anyone else up for change that more than a handful of liberal elite and illuminati can believe in? Please don’t tell me there are holdouts suggesting positive change is expected any longer under the left’s darling and MSM’s Chosen One.
Since you were willing to suggest several more measures which you wanted to see, Arjay, I’ll willingly comply with information that might be seen as valuable to all.
Through the first 26 months of seasonally adjusted U3 figures, former President Clinton managed a rate of 6.43%. Among his ways of addressing unemployment early in his Administration was overseeing sweeping changes for who would be considered and included as unemployed in 1994. That was when the first calculations for U6 unemployment were made, because no one assigned to statistical analysis within the BLS felt it was acceptable to simply remove as many of the unemployed as U3 was designed to do without having some statistical measure that would include most of the unfortunate individuals without jobs or income.
During a comparable 26 month period upon taking office, President George Walker Bush managed a respectable 5.30% rate, which was the best of the three Presidents by far. Since no other President has had two such
horrific domestic disasters to deal with, it’s probably also worth mentioning that ahead of September 11, 2001, there was not a single month where unemployment was calculated above 5%, but the climb was steady for most of two years in the immediate aftermath before starting a recognizable and encouraging decline. Two of President Bush’s three years of unemployment in the mid 4% range came after a solid economic recovery during 2006 and 2007. And 2005 was hardly anything to sneeze at with an annual U3 rate of 5.08%. There was not a single month above 6% unemployment until midway into the first quarter of the second Democratic budget put into place under Pelosi. When the news media hammered the economy in print and across the airwaves, and by the time every major source had begun to predict Obama would be elected President, public sentiment was shaken and the decline was sharp. The first figure to reach the mid 6% range was released just days before the election at a 6.6% rate. During th

The first figure to reach the mid 6% range was released just days before the election at a 6.6% rate. During th
President’s waning days in office as a lame duck with a hostile opposition party Congress, the second Democratic budget took its toll with successive U3 figures of 6.8% and 7.3%, ahead of the final shared month, which could be attributable to one or the other of the two Presidents, or both, at 7.8%.
Since 7.8% would be by far and away the lowest, and least embarrassing unemployment figure during Obama’s Presidency through nine quarters (2 1/4 years for the math challenged), I’m sure Dems and the rest of the country would love to see such respectable single digit numbers again, which were considerably below Obama’s 26 month average at 9.42%. At least the slow build-up after Obama took office saved his average from double figures, which the economy limped to during the third quarter of 2009 for the first time since unemployment statistics were changed specifically to hide the real extent of the problem under Clinton in ’94. Using U6 calculations, the dark final quarter of 2009 topped 17
% real unemployment, according to BLS statistics for the first time on record, before reaching 18% in January 2010 and averaging just shy of that figure for the quarter.
There’s little question the Democratic budgets enacted July 1, 2007, and then July 1,2008 took a significant toll on the economy. So too did the liberal press hammering away at consumer sentiment, which served Democrats well in the election held during November, 2008, but not so well afterward. Few with any ability to reason or assess the political climate had confidence in the inexperienced newcomer who would alternately try to press his personal socialist agenda and policy initiatives, with allowing remarkably unobstructed legislation from the Democratic Supermajority in Congress to hammer a weary public with increasing debt and skyrocketing unemployment. You didn’t think the public would be entirely unaware come November 4, 2010, did you? Most of the public believes the bloodletting will continue full force when th
the next critical elections take place in 2012.
Since you had questions about comparing apples to apples, so to speak, to address comparable 26 month periods unemployment rates turned in under each President, I’m glad to be able to post a direct answer. It was hardly an unreasonable request.
So let’s summarize here for the three Presidents listed above in what was supposed to be a fun way of calling attention to real statistics that the public might benefit from being more aware of.
President Clinton’s 26 month U3 average 1993 to the first quarter of 1995: 6.43%
President Bush’s 26 month U3 average 2001 thru the first quarter of 2003: 5.30%
President Obama’s 26 month U3 average 2009 to the first quarter of 2011: 9.42%
Guess you didn’t have a lot of fun with the mini IQ test did you, Arjay? None of us would have anticipated such hard and fast BLS statistics being an easy thing to swallow for liberal Democrats. How could it be? But thanks for giving it a shot.
I’d be pleased to address some of your concerns, as well, Troy. I’ll include a link which points out the job losses under Obama in 2009 being the highest since World War II at 4 million. The rate of increase in job losses year over year more than doubled in 2009 under Obama at 54.3%, while President Bush’s toughest year came in with a 26.5% rise in unemployment across 2008. That data came from BLS Series Report 20101008124546, unadjusted unemployment U6 aggregate rate.
On a quarterly basis during 2008, through the first three quarters (Jan.- Sept.), the economic downturn showed losses under "W" at an average of 208,000 per month. Not quite the 750,000 per month you suggested. In fact during all of 2008, there were a total of two months where job losses exceeded 660,000. Obama’s figures, like with every other economic indicator, dropped like a lead weight from the first part of 2009. His Administration experienced job losses at a rate of 418,000 per month over the same period in 2010,…
with 3,759,000 Americans displaced from January through September. Data for comparison was taken from BLS Series Report 20101029014334, Seasonal unemployment level in thousands.
I trust you’re able to follow whose economy took a bit of a downturn into modest recession, in comparison to employment and economic figures under Obama that fell immediately into the deepest depression the American economy has seen since the end of the roaring 20′s limped into the 1930′s.
The DOW Jones averages are another item altogether, but your data is disappointingly confused, again, Troy. After reaching unprecedented heights with impressive monthly gains across 2006 and 2007, which remained above 13,000 for much of 2007, the DOW reached its pinnacle when it topped 14,000 in October, 2007. During October 2008, just weeks before the election, the DOW stood at 10,850.06.

With obvious concern over who was about to take leadership, the market fell to 9034.69 as of January 2, 2009. On February 27, 2009, just five weeks into Obama’s Presidency, the DOW had tanked to 7062.93. But it got worse. During the early part of March, the financial market was absolutely devastated with financial institutions and careers on the ropes when the DOW sank to 1996-97 levels at 6626.94.
Just so we get this right, your concerns about a stock market at 7000 under Bush was totally incorrect, but within weeks of Obama taking his place in the Oval Office that’s precisely what we had. Just under two months into the Anointed One’s Presidency, the DOW Jones average had fallen off the table having lost 27% of its value and devastating America’s wealth like no one had seen, once again, since the Great Depression. Perhaps you should do a little more research, Troy, before confusing who was, and is, responsible for the economy that’s brought back a term not used for 80 years.
Much of the Gulf Coast still shows the scars of Katrina.
Over the last few decades emergency services, infrastructure building, all of the things we need to deal with emergencies, have been cut.
Could, say, major droughts in the areas that feed California agriculture, dry aqueducts, or a major hit of hurricane damage around the Gulf, or an unusually active tornado pattern in the Midwest, or forest fires, or… eliminate the U.S. as a world power?
Could the U.S., as a national state, survive, say, five New Orleans-type disasters?
Pulling military resources back from the enforcement of the Empire abroad would be necessary. "Superpower weakens" signals would not exactly help the currency internationally — the dollar might very well crash.
With little non-military industrial production remaining for years now, and then with lessened military power and collapsed financial influence, could the U.S. survive in its current form of organization?
My point is that the U.S. has, actually, been extremely lucky regarding natural disasters over the last century. If the weather patterns that destroyed Soviet agriculture had happened over, say, Iowa and Nebraska, the entire history of both WW2 and the Cold War would have changed, and, most likely, the identity of the "sole surviving superpower."
The territories controlled directly by Washington have been spared, by the luck of the draw, from much of the worst of natural disaster damage over the last hundred years.
As any gambler knows, every run of luck ends SOMETIME.
So I ask, if more normal flood patterns, numbers of quakes, droughts, hurricanes, etc. resume — can the U.S. survive?
Obviously this question is not asking anyone to "predict" a natural disaster – LOL. I’m asking about what natural disasters are common to specific regions of Mallorca. I’ve been googling Mallorca, but I haven’t found what I’m looking for. Since it is an island, I was wondering if it was at risk for hurricanes or tsunamis around the coast. (Hopefully not – I’m thinking about moving there.) Does anyone know? And if there is a risk of a disaster, what would be the safest region to live on the island? The mountains, perhaps? If the mtns are safer, which mountain range would you recommend? I realize a natural disaster can strike anywhere, but some areas are obviously more prone than others. Google hasn’t helped, so maybe someone who knows the Mallorca area can. . .
For example, Florida, USA is quite prone to hurricanes."Tornado Valley" is the nickname for the midwestern states more prone to tornados: Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota – although tornadoes do occur in other States with more fatalities. The top 3 States with most earthquakes are (no surprise) Alaska, California, Hawaii. Tsunamis tend to occur where earth AND lake-quakes are possible, (This is usually near a coastline.)
Since I live here, I am familiar with the natural disasters common in certain regions of the USA, but I’m not as familiar with Mallorca. That is why I’ve posted this question for someone who is knowledgeable about the weather patterns in the various regions of Mallorca.

When you get a Homeowners Insurance Policy, how long do you have to pay on the policy before they will pay for damages done to your home during a hurricane, tornado, or natural disaster?
No one can predict a natural disaster or world crisis. When a hurricane or flood or a pandemic strikes a country, who is most likely to respond first? Which economic system is the best solution to handling a crisis of epic proportion?
What advantages might a socialist system have in responding to the needs of people struck by an emergency situation like the earthquake that occurred in Haiti in January, 2010?
When disasters hit an area, the cost of everything seems to go up immediately: food, water, housing, gas and so forth. Explain why this phenomenon may be a good thing, using the laws of supply and demand to explain your answer.

Here in Ohio we’ve had tornado warnings pretty much all evening.
Earlier a tornado touched down in the county next to mine. On the news they kept telling people to find shelter, and to be cautious.
Then i was thinking… i am totally unprepared for a natural disaster. I don’t have any type of supplies, or emergency situation knowledge… then i started thinking about my pets. What would happen to them if something serious happened. Like during hurricane Katrina, many pets died, and were separated from their owners.
So i was wondering, do any of you have a plan for a natural disaster? What would happen to your pets?
Like in a tornado, would you have shelter space that your family and your pets could fit in?
Or in your natural disaster supplies do you have supplies for your pets as well?
do you have any place to take them if something happened?
If you had to evacuate your homes would you refuse to leave with out them? (some people did this during hurricane katrina) Or would you leave them and hope for the best?
Just curious… because its something i never really thought about.
"Oh and by the way, where in ohio are the tornado warnings because i’m also located in ohio, near the cincinnati area…"
Well the tornado touched down in Fairfield, i live in Pickaway county, and we had warnings.
I’m not sure what all countys had warnings.
@Fuzzy Liberal -My grandma lives in a mobile home to, and when ever we get tornado warngings she hides in her hallway with her cats.
I live in a twin syle town home, and i have no type of shelter. So i’d have to go in the bathtub or my downstairs closet…but i highly doubt that they’d be able to hold myself and my pets.
So i’ve been pretty worried about a natural disaster.
i am doing a science project about tornadoes. i need a creative name for the title. i was gonna put tornadoes but like idk
i have to write a report about what my extreme natural event is and how it works
where on the earth events such as these occurred
what changed to the earth the event can cause
how this event can affect the people plants and animals that live near by
i have to choose a specific tornado
and compare and contrast it to another natural disaster
that is wht i have to do for my project
so please help me come up for a title
for it
im writing a research report for science class. we had to pick a type of natural disaster (i chose tornado) and then focus in on one (i chose the 1953, waco, texas one)
we need a "grabber" sentence for my introduction. it can either be an interesting fact or, we get more points for, like something that people know of but changed a little to fit your topic. for example, if you had a topic on a dolphin, you could say: "its a shark, its a fish, no its a dolphin!" just like "its a bird, its a plane, no its superman!" from a popular movie.
something like that. something from a movie, song, poem, book, story, etc etc etc! (: PLEASE HELP!!
I was watching TV and saw so many different updates about famous ppl and organizations donating millions and millions of dollars and clothes and food and im thinking "whoa! this 0 million dollars you have stashed away couldnt have been used earlier to help ppl in america?!"
We are in an economic crisis and have so many homeless ppl and the rates are growing each year! so much of that money could be used to build homeless shelters and centers that help ppl get back on their feet! We also have natural disasters all the time! A city close to mine was completely wiped out (the whole city) by a series of tornadoes and they were not helped as much as they could have been.
I know we should help others, im not saying i dont care. but does anyone else feel a little angry that so much money and funds are being used on other countries when its really needed at home?
Whoa!!!! calm down ppl. u are reading way too much into what i am saying.
i said (basically) isnt it rediculous that actors and singers and basketball players and all suddenly have millions to donate to them? if theyve just been stashin this money away for a rainy day, why hasnt it been used on america.
to me its a PR gimmick. "yeah! a natural disaster! now i can give money and look cool and people will love me!"
and to everyone who thinks they know my personal life. yes. working full time i have had to starve to keep a roof over my head. i have had to live in a car. no dead bodies, but i have seen bums living under bridges begging for someone to feed them.
im not saying that what happened in haiti isnt important. its a big deal! its horrible! but a natural disaster doesnt have magical powers that makes money appear! its been sitting, not being used when its needed here.

Natural disasters, god-like activities or a scientific phenomenon, either way it is still a life changing tragedy. Merriam Webster defines tragedy: A serious drama typically describing a conflict between the protagonist and a superior force. What is more tragic than a spontaneous natural disaster happening right beside you, well it definitely beats a death of a neighbour’s dog or a murder down the street. In this case – Man vs. Nature-we are dealing with a much greater force: the simple power of nature. The wrath caused by natural disasters does not only bring drama to one man, but it affects everything and anything in its path. Nothing, not even the intelligence of humankind can stop a tremendous force of natural disasters caused by hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, and floods. The only things we can do is stop, and think of what comes to mind often when regarding natural disasters as they cause the pain of the loss of a loved one, devastation of your life through your only means of shelter, and the emotional pain that it takes to endure a tragedy such as this one. Tragedies such as these are very difficult to handle for many people.
Dear,
Hello! Our names are Jaritza , Elizuleyma , Sarahi, and Stephanny we are currently attending the eighth grade in the William C. McGinnis School. We understand that this is our last year in the William C. McGinnis, but if you approve this we would love that you continue it.We are writing to you to ask you if we could start an organization of helping those children in need. The money we raise would be donated to UNICEF. We would love to involve our school and out community to help.We speaked to our principal Mrs. Ana Maria Mascenik and she told us that she believes is a great idea, but we need your approval. Our main reasons why we would love to do this is because there are many children that don’t have any education, many children are starving, and many children don’t have any medical attention.
To begin with there are many children with no education in this world. More than forty-three million kids don’t have a school to go to just because of the wars. Their school has been destroyed. Other kids are not able to attend school because of their country’s poverty. Although we get an education, there are many kids out there that don’t get education. Studies show that more than twenty percent of the kids in country’s under poverty can’t even get to primary school. Why don’t we join together as a school and help change that.
Second, many children are starving. Nine hundred twenty three million people across the world are hungry. About sixteen million kids die each day, because of hunger related problems. That is about one child each five seconds. We would like to help those children that have pass through Natural Disaster, such as hurricane, tsunami, tornadoes, droughts, including others. Those children don’t have anything to eat because everything is gone. A good example of this is Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina was a big hurricane that pass through New Orleans, all those families didn’t have anything to eat. This shows you that not only do we need to help the world but also our country. Our country one of the richest country in the world, it needs help. Imagine the others.
Another reason is many children don’t have medical attention. Many children get sick in countries under poverty and don’t have the help needed to survive. Poverty creates ill-health because it forces people to live in environments that make them sick, without decent shelter, clean water or adequate sanitation. The environment the most people that are under poverty live is contaminated, their nutrient isn’t the best causing many diseases. The most common diseases are Cholera, Hepatitis A, AIDS, Malaria, polio, and the West Nile virus. These children need vaccines, and a lot of medical attention. They don’t have the money needed to care for their disease, they get really sick and die. We could help by donating money to get those vaccines to does children.
We have many ways how we could earn money, if you approve our idea. One of our ideas is having a bake sale. Another idea is having a candy gram sale. Besides that we could have a tug-o-war, were students of our school could pay to play. As it is getting warmer we could have a car wash where not only teacher and parents come but also other town residents. You are probably asking yourself if we have a name for our organization, but we don’t because we are waiting for your approval before we take any further directions.
In conclusion, lets help donate money to UNICEF, there are many kids that don’t have anything to eat. Even though we have an education, there are kids around the world that don’t. Instead of sitting here assuming other people would help them lets join and help them too. Do you think that we could make a change? We do! Please approve our idea. Thank You in advance.
Sincerely,
P.S. The next page includes the students at our school that would also like this to happen.
Read the following paragraph and write a composition as stated in about 300 words. Your composition will be graded according to clarity, accuracy and meaningfulness.
A natural disaster is the effect of a natural hazard (e.g. flood, drought, tornado, volcano eruption, earthquake, typhoon, tsunami, or landslide) that affects the environment, and brings financial, environmental and human losses. We can see many natural disasters occurring at home and abroad recently, huge damage have been made either to the environment or to our human lives. Those natural disasters urge us to reconsider our beliefs and behavior toward our mother nature when we seek for clothes, food, and sheltering etc.
Therefore, what is your attitude toward the natural disasters? What shall we do to prevent us from being simply destroyed? What kind of role did we play in the causes of those dreadful disasters? Your writing ought to contain three parts, your viewpoint, the supporting ideas, and the conclusion.
I NEED AN ESSAY,NOT OPINION OR SOMETHING LIKE INTRUDOCTION. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? THANKS!
I’ve recently had a dispute with a a friend on price gouging during and after a natural disaster. He said it was immoral and unethical thing to do. People don’t need price’s going up after a disaster strikes. But I had a different view on price gouging after a storm. Living in south florida it’s very common to gouge prices after a storm.
Well after one of the hurricanes that hit south fl i went out to buy gas and go figure by the time I finished waiting the line all the gas was gone. WHO’S fault was this? Well it wasn’t my fault that I got there late. I think it was the people in front of me who decided to put a full tank of gas instead of a qrt or at least half a tank to leave some for the rest of the people behind but then I started thinking why would they if it cost the same as it did before the storm. Awe maybe if they would have raised the gas from 2.89 to 5.00 a gal people would have not put a hole tank of gas and therefore leaving gas for all those in the back of the line. Same thing with the ice and people selling it on the streets. This guy was selling bags of ice for like 5 bucks someone called the cops and they came and arrested him made a big deal gave the ice away for free and there was no ice once again left for me. So my conclusion is that price gougers are not immoral but smart people sent by God to help get supplies around. Whats gonna stop you from buying more than you need? I doubt anyone in this selfish world thinks of the guy behind him in line.
What you guys think? I’m full of it or do I make a some sense?
question. If u do regulate how much someone gets. what if the family splits up and each buys the limit or if that someone goes to the iceman buys ice and then goes to the next iceman and buys more ice supplies still run out. Point is people will find a way around that limit rule. But there is no way around paying more. YES I kno people don’t gouge prices for the sake of others but it works you get supplies and the iceman makes some extra money. Both sides win. And usually the cops would confiscate everything and no one gets supplies . But I guess that made the situation better because it was the "christian way" btw you could blame that guy for calling the cops
I don’t think you guys understand. IT SUCKS WHEN SUPPLIES THAT YOU NEED OUR OUT OF STOCK! it will happen before and after a disaster. I live in south Florida and I have been in a disaster .many hurricanes down here. And nothing is worse that not having gas to power up your generator to keep your food good. I can’t even imagine people who were without light for 3 weeks (true story, happened to me). especially people who have some sort of medical machine to help them get by the day ..but because gas ran out they couldn’t power up their generator. and sometimes there wouldn’t be gas for days because people are selfish and stock up for themselves. And when prices go up everyone complains. In my opinion the selfish one’s are the ones who won’t pay more to keep supplies stocked up.
What do you guys care if someone makes money???! Its not about that its the cold hard fact that it WORKS!
