Anyone notice this? It’s like there is some sort of attraction between trailer parks and twisters. Is it that god may hate wife beating trailer trash and the stupid women that love them?
(I have asked a similar question before, but I am unsatisfied with all of the answers)
I think I have lilasophobia (the fear of tornadoes and hurricanes). When ever it even gets cloudy my heart starts pumping. When it’s thundering I keep an eye outside. When there is a massive storm brewing up outside, I get tunnel vision, my heart beats, I sweat a bit, and just feel horrible. The weird thing is, most people with phobias can’t even watch video of the thing they fear. Me? I LOVE watching storm chaser videos. My god, watching a truck get stuck in a tornado intercept gets my blood pumping. I love it! However, if I am confronted with a real storm, I get terrified. I’m not young either, so my age can’t be an excuse. I live in Minnesota, and we get a lot of severe weather warnings, and watches, but I’m not aware of a tornado that has touched down near my area.
I don’t think I have any past experiences with tornadoes, so it can’t be post traumatic stress. I just don’t know what to do. I know how tornadoes form, I’ve done the research. I know all the safety precautions, and I can’t afford consoling, or the time to get together with some storm chasers. Nor can I move out of tornado alley. I wish I could install a tornado shelter, but I also can’t for money resons. Any advise to help naturally remedy my fears? Thanks!
Michael Moore, I believe, is the devil himself. He doesn’t know that God does not pick political sides and only condems those who do not follow him. How can he gloat on other people’s miseries. He sounded like he hopes the hurricane will wipe out all republicans and cancel the convention. He is one sick puppy. What do you think about his comments and the coming hurricane?

Natural disasters, god-like activities or a scientific phenomenon, either way it is still a life changing tragedy. Merriam Webster defines tragedy: A serious drama typically describing a conflict between the protagonist and a superior force. What is more tragic than a spontaneous natural disaster happening right beside you, well it definitely beats a death of a neighbour’s dog or a murder down the street. In this case – Man vs. Nature-we are dealing with a much greater force: the simple power of nature. The wrath caused by natural disasters does not only bring drama to one man, but it affects everything and anything in its path. Nothing, not even the intelligence of humankind can stop a tremendous force of natural disasters caused by hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, and floods. The only things we can do is stop, and think of what comes to mind often when regarding natural disasters as they cause the pain of the loss of a loved one, devastation of your life through your only means of shelter, and the emotional pain that it takes to endure a tragedy such as this one. Tragedies such as these are very difficult to handle for many people.
Hes putting earthquakes on us, pointing and clicking thunder storms & tornados on our villages on lil’ol microscopic us as he see’s fit.
Hes flooded the world and re-created it again. meteors on the dinosaurs to wipe them out and create another world map.

I’ve recently had a dispute with a a friend on price gouging during and after a natural disaster. He said it was immoral and unethical thing to do. People don’t need price’s going up after a disaster strikes. But I had a different view on price gouging after a storm. Living in south florida it’s very common to gouge prices after a storm.
Well after one of the hurricanes that hit south fl i went out to buy gas and go figure by the time I finished waiting the line all the gas was gone. WHO’S fault was this? Well it wasn’t my fault that I got there late. I think it was the people in front of me who decided to put a full tank of gas instead of a qrt or at least half a tank to leave some for the rest of the people behind but then I started thinking why would they if it cost the same as it did before the storm. Awe maybe if they would have raised the gas from 2.89 to 5.00 a gal people would have not put a hole tank of gas and therefore leaving gas for all those in the back of the line. Same thing with the ice and people selling it on the streets. This guy was selling bags of ice for like 5 bucks someone called the cops and they came and arrested him made a big deal gave the ice away for free and there was no ice once again left for me. So my conclusion is that price gougers are not immoral but smart people sent by God to help get supplies around. Whats gonna stop you from buying more than you need? I doubt anyone in this selfish world thinks of the guy behind him in line.
What you guys think? I’m full of it or do I make a some sense?
question. If u do regulate how much someone gets. what if the family splits up and each buys the limit or if that someone goes to the iceman buys ice and then goes to the next iceman and buys more ice supplies still run out. Point is people will find a way around that limit rule. But there is no way around paying more. YES I kno people don’t gouge prices for the sake of others but it works you get supplies and the iceman makes some extra money. Both sides win. And usually the cops would confiscate everything and no one gets supplies 
. But I guess that made the situation better because it was the "christian way" btw you could blame that guy for calling the cops
I don’t think you guys understand. IT SUCKS WHEN SUPPLIES THAT YOU NEED OUR OUT OF STOCK! it will happen before and after a disaster. I live in south Florida and I have been in a disaster .many hurricanes down here. And nothing is worse that not having gas to power up your generator to keep your food good. I can’t even imagine people who were without light for 3 weeks (true story, happened to me). especially people who have some sort of medical machine to help them get by the day ..but because gas ran out they couldn’t power up their generator. and sometimes there wouldn’t be gas for days because people are selfish and stock up for themselves. And when prices go up everyone complains. In my opinion the selfish one’s are the ones who won’t pay more to keep supplies stocked up.
What do you guys care if someone makes money???! Its not about that its the cold hard fact that it WORKS!
I’m thinking God might punish our nation for giving more of our citizens equal protection and dignity, and allowing them to not feel like second-class citizens. John Boehner said giving more people affordable health care insurance would be Armageddon (because Jesus wasn’t in favor of helping the sick and poor, but rather for maximizing profits for the rich), so this combined with that would probably push God’s anger towards America over the top. Any thoughts? Do you think we’ll be hit by a gigantic meteor, comet, tsunami, avalanche, tornado, or something else?
Early this morning i had a dream about the world ending, it went like this:
my family and i were living in a big nice house somewhere(it looked liked georgia which my mom plans on moving next year in a big house) and my mom had lost her mind, she was seeing things like spirits and doing strange things , so we found her one morning sleeping on the ground outside and everyone thought she had completely lost it and we were trying to figure out what was going on…so then we had a pet cat and i was trying to feed the cat but the cat was going crazy jumping all over the place trying to run away like something terrible was going to happen(i have heard that animals can sense things, and when they sense evil or trouble they act crazy or try to run far away)but anyways it started raining really hard and then a hurricane and then tornadoes then a blizzard, it was disaster everywhere…next thing i know i looked out a window and i seen the sun spinning and growing bigger and rays of sun shot out and started burning everything…my family and i fell to our knees and started praying for forgiveness, we were so scared b/c it reminded us of the book of revelations..then next thing i know we were in the car headed to a shelter and everythig was destroyed…we ended up at a shelter where a few others were and everyone was trying to figure out did the world end…i dont quite remember everything well…but my mom says that means i need to give my life over to God and that my stepdad use to have similar dreams before he was saved…it scared the mess out of me b/c i have had dreams about situations that actually happened not exacly like the dream but with the same meaning as the dream had and about people that at first i did not believe but then a situation would happened that made me remember what the dream was exactly trying to tell me…plus i went to this church were they had a lady preach and she prophecized to me that God wanted me and to keep my body(which was strange b/c i was thinking about losing my virginity a couple days before then)…..
family members and people who are close to the family already thinks my mom is a little bi-polar or mentally ill because of the way she acts(nice one second,mean the other, attitudes, tantrums when she doesnt get her way, etc….)

Today is our opportunity to treat Jesus. How can we serve Him?
Do we allow Him to live under a bridge? Do we allow Him to live in a cardboard box? Is He hungry? Does He have water to drink? Does He have a place to bathe? Do we turn Him away if He doesn’t have any money to pay for shelter?
If He is behind on His property taxes, do we put His place up for auction and evict Him? If He is behind on His rent, do we kick Him out into the street? If He is drowning in the floodwaters of a hurricane, do we let Him drown?
If He applies for food stamps, do we terminate His benefits if He fails to supply proper documentation? If He applies for social security, do we deny His claim? If He needs medical care or medicine, do we turn Him away because He has no insurance? If He needs dental care, will we treat Him?
Jesus said, "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to me".
When God allows jets to crash into our buildings killing thousands of our countrymen, do we have a right to turn to this "Jesus", the One we treat so maliciously? Surely we worship Him in vain, and our hearts are far from Him.
What does 9/11 mean? If we do not repent and treat the poor and oppressed believers in Jesus more nicely, what’s next?

No one deserve any kind of natural disaster. People dont say that people in California deserve it and it happens all the time. So whats the revenge for people/states where catastrophes happen often. Someone once said it was God’s wrath on southern states when they get hurricanes in the south because of slavery. Now doesn’t that sound dumb too but to the people who think its God’s revenge on haiti for voodoo should believe the same thing. What’s the revenge for Tornadoes in the midwest? What was the revenge for for the tsunami in Thailand. Just because it’s black people it has to be sometype of God’s wrath?

I’ve just watched this show and there were wildfires spreading, and heading resident’s ways in hills, they try to evacuate but there is only one route out. Unfortunately, the road or bridge is blocked by the fire. People jump into a reservoir to save themselves and friends, and people drove back home hoping for god to save them. Fires took over I think 600 acres per hour, and firefighters try to battle some fire tornadoes. I think the show was called "Storm Stories" and the fire looked creepy. I think it was somewhere in California.

My 16 story dorm building is about half a mile from the school and sometimes i walk to there and sometimes home at night, as you know Oklahoma is tornado alley state and we always get tornadic storms. It was raining and lightning very crazy last night and there was a tornado watch but thank god nothing formed out of the storms. In case there was a tornado warning at night in my area, how would i detect a tornado is on the ground ? Because sometimes i am in my dorm alone at night so i don’t know how to know if one is coming, should i check use my computer’s internet to detect a tornado ? Also, because sometimes i walk to fast food restaurants at night to get food so i want to know how i could detect if there’s a tornado so i could take cover before it’s too late. Can anyone please help me out ? I would like to know before i get killed by one of these storms.
Or do they blame it on the 2 or 3 gay people in town?

Doesn’t it seem strange that to anyone else that the wildfires are happening in California, and hurricanes happen frequently in Florida & Louisiana and other gulf states, and that there are tornadoes more frequently in the midwestern states?? Do you think God is showing his wrath?? I know for a fact that alot of "natural disasters" happen in these areas…and I truly believe that God’s Wrath is sparking these situations. What do you believe?

Why do some Christians (note I used "some" so I don’t want to hear any defensive whining) point to judgement from God when natural or human disasters happen in places like New York or California or New Orleans etc. I am already hearing some saying the fires in California are some kind of judgement from God etc.
But far more natural disasters have and still happen in the Bible Belt by way of floods, tornadoes, drought etc. In addition, there are lots of Christians in places like New York, California and New Orleans.
By your reasoning, why is God punishing them as well?
