I currently reside in Northeast Columbia in South Carolina and To be honest I really don’t know when does the tornado season start officially. Back in 2008 we had a Tornado Outbreak that occurred on the mid week of March 15th, We had a Tornado Warning and a Tornado Outbreak a day after the Atlanta Tornado Incident. I strangely like severe weather like Heavy Snow & Blizzard Conditions, Tornadoes , Severe Thunderstorms, Hurricanes and etc. It is just so fun to track weather and storms when they appear to occur in your area. So when does the official tornado season starts for the southeastern states and south carolina ? What would Be the best month for me to see severe thunderstorms and severe weather ? I would really like to know really soon because I’m planning to make a youtube channel of videos of thunderstorms.

My dog is totally cute… But one problem when i adopted him he was in a cage(duh!). I think he was @ the humane society 4 like 6 months… so wen we got him my family & I were happy we bought him everythin(dog supplies) We bought a big crate, but i guess he was in the crate so long he doesnt want 2 go bac in!!
We tried putting food, Encouraging him… everything but no!!
He doesnt have 2 b in it but just sayin there was an hurricane or something comin i need him 2 b in a crate 4 safety reasons…

I was watching the news about the HORRORS happening across the world from me and I keep hearing people say REALLY stupid things like “It’s no surprise that the US Supplies are being stolen… Just look at what Bush did after Hurricane Katrina.” And it made me think about the bias in the news coverage when it came to Katrina.

I’m MIDDLE GROUND in everything so I don’t have the wool over my eyes when it comes from EITHER side of the nut-job spectrum so when I watched the difference in reporting, I was SHOCKED at how both sides were manipulating the disaster to further their own aims.

The BIGGEST thing I noticed was how CNN and the Leftie nut-job side referred to EVERYONE as a “Victim” while Fox News and the Rightie nut-job side and the non-biased referred to them as “Survivors” and it REALLY hit home.
If you label someone as a “Victim” then they take on a pathetic, beaten down, “I can’t help myself” air while a “Survivor” is someone that has SURVIVED THE WORST & is ready to help their fellow survivors & rebuild!

A “Victim” is weak & needs others to support them…
A “Survivor” is STRONG & willing to accept help but is working just as hard as the helpers!

I remember watching the interviews on the various news stations & it was shocking how they picked through the people to find the specific “Type” of person to interview to specifically further their own political aims.

I remember an interview with an Asian family & when the reporter kept calling them “Victims” they actually stopped her & said “We are not victims. We survived & we will rebuild.” & 6 months later I saw a 60 min’s story on how they flipped off the world & didn’t retreat.
The whole community stayed & pooled their money & resources & strengths & they had almost finished rebuilding the houses & repairing the streets while a few miles away, the houses were still mold covered & the people THERE were doing nothing but b*tching about George Bush & how they had yet to get their FIMA Debit Cards.

Everyone I asked about these details went STRAIGHT DOWN PARTY LINES! The Republicans said “They are Survivors” & the Democrats said “They are just victims, unable to help themselves.” While us Middle-Grounds could stand back & see the distinctions & the shades of grey.

***QUESTIONS***
Does anyone else understand the manipulation tactics of their own political party?

Why is it that only about 1% of the population of the US is even ABLE to see the blatant propaganda & manipulation tactics?

What is your opinion on this?
p.s. I see this type of manipulation EACH AND EVERY TIME I turn on the news, but with H.K. it was so obvious that it is the easiest thing to use as an example.

"Normal" news days can be ignored or it is so small that you need to research what REALLY happened to realize the way you have been manipulated, but with H.K. it was so obvious that I could almost see the "Thought Bubbles" over the heads of the reporters saying "Believe US and not THEM!"

I lived in Edmond, Oklahoma for 6 years. We had a Tornado 1 mile from the house. We were living there when the May 3rd, (1999 ?) Tornado hit Norman, OK. That one one an F-5, it took out almost the whole town. Grew up in California with the earthquakes, I’m back in California now. We have earthquakes all the time. So far we haven’t had the big one.
Loopie-I have lived through both, I can tell you that I will take the earthquakes over tornado’s. One fair swoop and your home is gone with a tornado. We have earthquakes all the time. Never any damage. There have only been a few major ones that have caused damage.

ok the one in denver laramie and cheyenne. i was in the city of all of them. ok this is wat happened. we went to denver in the afternoon to shop. went to my aunts, then the tornado hit! we went to her basssment. then soon as that one cleared up we were going home we

had to drive threw laramie then one hit there! so we went to my cousins house fast! and went to her bassment. then we went to our home cheyenne one hit there! omg big big day! the next day tornado hit in cheyenne when we were in school! my mom picked me up. our house was close by so we were scared. my stupid dad watched all of them exept the colorado one. so anyways who heard of these tornados?! o and these were the best videos i could find.

o and there was more but we had tornados going all night long so boring and scary! but some were lame!

I’ve just moved to oklahoma city in oklahoma where is mostly known as tornado alley, i didn’t want to move but i had to because of my job relocation. Since i’ve heard on television on the news back in 1999 about the deadliest may 3rd 1999 tornado outbreak in history, i never would want to move here if it wasn’t for my job. But does anything like that ever happen here often ? People said that tornadoes here in Oklahoma forms into the deadly F5 tornadoes that is about a mile wide in diameter. What are some ways i could make sure my wife & family is safe during one of these outbreaks if I’m away from home ? Also, how could i keep myself safe if i am on the 34th floor in an building with only express elevators ? The elevators don’t have stops between floors Lobby – 29th. I’m very curious about my family’s safety and mine’s in case if one of these tornado outbreaks occurs

My family & I are planning on going on a Family RV trip from Oklahoma–Canada–California–& back. Is it safe to travel in an RV during the most dangerous tornado times?
