Relocating to Texas.?

I currently live in Maine right now and I’m looking to relocate to Texas. Hoping someone could give me a little info as to where a nice place to live would be. I’d like to be somewhere thats somewhat wooded, low crime, not far from a big city, and as far out of hurricane, tornado, anything like that area. Any input would be great.

umm I’ve lived in Texas all my life n well its a pretty nice place to live, i live in austin tx, and austin is huge there are lots of little suburbs outside of austin that connect right to austin n i think you’d like it but if you email me i can tell you more about it
