Tornado Questions
Where is the best place to live in the USA if you have never been there. Not to hot , not to cold, no tornado’s etc. I though about Washington on the west coast or maybe close to chicago by Lake Michigan. I work in the Medical field and want to study – so money could be tight.
Any info appreciated.

I think Arkansas would be a good place. Its not cold, not hot ( well its hot everywhere during the summer), a nice state, no snowing or anything. No big natural disaster occured from what I know of. Hope this helps u. By the way, chicago snows..so since you don’t like cold areas it wouldn’t be a good place because I live in Chicago. Things in chicago is a little expensive, too since you said money could be tight. Hope this helps.

I would google the states and view their climate etc. Chicago (Illinois) and Washington are both cold states.

I like North carolina (we moved from upstate New York las t year) , its not too cold (no snow in winter) and it doesn’t get blazing hot. The cost of living is lower (we bought a brand new 1200 square foot home for less than $130,000).

Cost wise California is not a good choice, but the climate and social life is great. If I were to live in another city in California it would be San Diego, great town, close to the beach, industry, etc…. very quaint little(well not so little) town. Chicago is cold as hell during the winter, but also a great place to live.

Lower easst coast is nice. I don’t know about Lake Michigan, they get ALOT of snow. Feets of it. I live in Maryland. Here’s a page that will give you info about each state. Don;t forget Hawaii, great climate, beautiful scenery and lots of people so they need medical care too. good Luck and Welcome!
