Just curious to what others will say to this…?
"MAN was created in the image of God, perfect in every way, as was the whole world. Man ruined that perfection when he chose sin, in spite of all the reasons God displayed to him to obey. For this reason, sorrow, tears, pain, sickness, death, and all that is bad in this world came into existence. This includes what many refer to as “acts of God†like tornadoes, hurricanes, drought, earthquakes, etc., that are primarily a result of the fall and of Satan seeking to destroy people. This was never the intention, and thus not the fault, of God. All people have sinned, for which the just penalty is death. Only through accepting Jesus as Savior and by making Him Lord of your life can you spend eternity with God in heaven. Those who reject or ignore Him will suffer God’s wrath for their sins and will suffer eternally in Hell. (Genesis 1:26,27; Romans 3:23; 6:23; Romans 8:18-20; I Peter 5:8; I John 5:19; Hebrews 2:14; Matthew 25:34,46; Revelation 22:3-5; Matthew 25:41,46; II Thessalonians 1:5-

To me it’s just typical religious bs of "God gets all the glory, and man (or satan) get the blame…

I say….I thought this was a question…..instead it’s a sermon.

Wasn’t there a book somewhere with all that stuff in?

Only applicable if one believes in God and in what the bible says. To others it’s just crazy talk.

Since the first human couple chose to believe what was told them by the “father of the Lie†Satan (John 8:44) via a medium the serpent (Gen 3: 2-7) then the human fell out of perfection. As a result the Human race thereafter was born into imperfection or sin as it were. At the same time GOD of the Holy Bible Jehovah made a provision to correct this Major mistake made by Satan and the Human and that provision is the first prophecy in the scriptures.
Talking to the medium that Satan used Jehovah said.
Genesis 3: 15
And I shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed. He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.
The Holy Bible’s theme is about the one that is to be the enmity. The history of the Bible’s Hebrew Scriptures or Old Testament if you prefer is about the humans that were in the line (descendants) of Adam (Luke 3:23 – 28) and the process of keeping those descendants alive so that prophecy could be fulfilled and the original mistake made by the Human and Satan would be corrected.
The Greek Scriptures or New Testament if you prefer is about that prophecy being fulfilled. The one that is the enmity being Jehovah’s Son Jesus (Mathew 3:17 John 3:16).
The book of Revelation is a book of prophecy about what will happened after the first prophecy was fulfilled and the GOD of the Holy Bible Jehovah’s original purpose for the Human being restored.
Satan and his physical worldly organization that is misleading the entire earth (Revelation 12:9) is destroyed and the human restored back to perfection on paradise earth and be ruled and taught by the Kingdom (government) of Jehovah with his son Jesus as King with tried and tested true followers of Jehovah’s King while they were here on earth as the administrators of the Kingdom – Revelation 6:3,4.
When there will be no death, no sorry, so sickness, no hunger or war. When Humans will live in peace and harmony with each other forever in paradise on Earth ( Revelation 21: 4). Jehovah’s original purpose for the Human.
The first prophecy is fulfilled and the Major Mistake made by Satan and the First Human Couple is corrected. Jehovah’s Universal Sovereignty is proven and all lies about Jehovah destroyed.
I pray many times each day that Jehovah’s Kingdom will come and that His will be done here on earth as it is in heaven – Matthew 6: 9,10. And if I’m alive at the time the Kingdom comes that I be passed over in the destruction and if I die before the Kingdom comes that I be granted a resurrection (Acts 24:15) into the New World for eternal life on paradise earth.
The great philosopher; Herbert Spencer said;
“There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is contempt prior to investigation.â€

If man was perfect in every way, then the action that man took(disobeying God and sinning) must be perfect. Therefore, God is not perfect either because man was created in his image or because his perfect creation wasn’t perfect.
Personally, I think the blame lies with Gods PR firm. They should be fired.

god created man, then immediately placed him in a garden with an evil snake and tree….then tried to teach babies (newly born children) about consequences, which cannot be done….then supposedly held it over both their head and the head of all mankind….causing many believers to dismiss ‘acts of god’ and other catastrophic incidents as ‘sin’ and therefore acceptable.
Further, a loving god wouldn’t send allow any of his creation to suffer ‘eternal torment’.

Sounds like you know the deal.
I think GOD is a little more involved then you describe. I believe that many of these "acts of GOD" are really acts of GOD. Our father is very patient but will get our attention if need be.

God didn’t make humans perfect; he made them too damned inquisitive.

I am a Christian and I do agree with your statements. However, even though it doesn’t apply to me, I’m studying the specifics of "burning eternally in hell" – - – - as some possible misinterpretations.
You might want to keep an open mind and read some on this website (it’s a Christian website):

Typical Christian logic.
It’s always either God’s Will or somebody else’s fault!

So…God would’ve rather had us as stupid as possible, eh? So, that’s where the saying comes from – "Ignorance is Bliss"? I mean – according to that – we wouldn’t be suffering if we hadn’t eaten from the tree of knowledge………
Wait….maybe we WOULD still be suffering, we just wouldn’t have the brains to know it??

God created everything god knows everything including the future he knew Lucifer would turn against him and Lucifer is Satan, God didn’t remove Satan from heaven Michael did if evil isn’t gods fault then that means that god couldn’t stop evil meaning that evil is more powerful than god or god didn’t try to stop it meaning that god wasn’t there for you, but oh wait god is omnipotent meaning that he is everywhere at the same time I think I got my message across.

I’ll Prove You Wrong…THERE IS NO GOD!
If there is, why is my neighbor still a quadriplegic, in a wheel chair, can’t talk on his own, can’t eat on his own & poops and pee’s though tubes? He’s been praying for to be cured for 13+ years, day in and day out, non stop, and he’s only getting worse.
If there is, why is the so much pain, suffering and misery in the world? Is this God only good to a select few…the one’s who empty their pockets into the collection basket every week?
Quote the whole bible for all I care. Have God make my neighbor healthy again and end all of the suffering in the world and I’ll give it a second thought. You preach endlessly, but where are the concrete results? I thought so…
wickedwarrior156 on December 18, 2009 at 1:57 pm
I think that a bite of an apple (think about that for a minute) is not worth suffering. If your book is true, than in the infancy of our species we were spiritually raped, and told it was our fault, and sentenced for not knowing better.
You asked.

There are not too many people here this morning, that seems to agree with what you said- but I am here to say- Keep speaking the truth in love, who knows one day one of these same people will come to know Jesus. It never ceases to amaze me when a Christian asks this type of question and adds comments we get thumbs down, but when someone who does not believe goes on and on- they get thumbs up- what is wrong with this picture? Don’t be discouraged truth will ultimately win out
