Is this fair?
Well my teacher had us fill out this student info sheet and when it ased for an emergancy contact # I could do nothing but say that I do not know information and that all I knew was that was on file in the office. Well apperantly this was a grade and a significant amount of points was deducted from my grade all because I didn’t know certian info.
Also she made up this story about what if "There was a tornado and the place was blowing up and you were being rollled away on a stretcher and they tried both you parents and couldn’t contact them and they came up and asked you who else is there to call?"
and NO I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!
Do you think that it was fair for points to be decucted from my grade all because I didn’t know any emergancy contact # and all I knew that it was on file in the school office if my file ever made the transfer?

Couldn’t you just have written down a parent’s cell number down?
Sister?
Brother?
If you want to, talk to your parents or the principal, but it’s prett sad if you as a teen don’t know any stuff like that. I mean, unless you just transferred schools, or moved there or something, but stuff like that is stuff you should already know hun.

no that isnt fair
but you could have put down a friend’s mom (if you know that friend’s house number) or your parent (the one you didnt put down for the other area – unless you needed to put down both)
but still, thats not fair.

Nope, talk to your parents, or principal.

That is not fair. Tell your teacher that that’s what you believe. Explain why you don’t know any contact information. There has to be a reasonable reason for not knowing tha stuff. I usually have my mom fill out that sort of thing, so that’s why I don’t know.

Most likely if you are a stretcheryou would be unconscious and would not be able to tell anyone it, so whats the point in memorizing it. You could hand it to her the next day, I think you should tell your parents, because its unfair that you got marks taken off your grade for that.

NOT FAIR NOT FAIR NOT FAIR
NOT FAIR NOT FAIR NOT FAIR.
That is so unfairly. If i were you i would go to the office and tell them about this. There is no reason that a student information sheet should count for any kind of grade. If she would have asked you for a favorite food and you didn’t have one, would she have counted off more points? that is ridiculous!
