Is president Bush to blame for the fires in California?
I mean he was responsible for the horrible hurricane in New Orleans as well as most other problems in the world today. Shouldn’t he just own up to the fact that he is responsible for the fires in CA? He has been in office for 6.5 years. Surely he could have stocked up water supplies in California in anticipation of these fires. He should have been training extra fire fighters personally over the last 6 years so that there would be an abundance of them to fight these fires.
When did Bush know about these fires? Did he fail to act in time? Weren’t there warnings about these fires years ago. I have been to CA and have seen road signs that warn about wildfires, shouldn’t Bush have heeded the road signs warnings?
Finally, did Bush actually set the fires to contribute to global warming? I mean, the temp must have gone up a few degrees because of these fires. All that smoke in the air, the extra traffic from evacuations, etc….this is obviously a vast right wing conspiracy.

Mr. bush’s calculation was a little bit off. He thought the global warming resulting from the fire would have been enough to melt all the snowcaps in the Cascade range, sending the flood waters to the fires. Ooops, he messed up again.

You’re hopelessly confused, but I’ll try to help you understand.
Nobody blamed Bush for the hurricanes that hit New Orleans and the south. They blamed him for not being prepared, despite adequate warnings; they blamed him for the slow and disorganized response; they blamed him for remaining on vacation when there was work to be done.
In both the hurricanes and the current fires in SoCal, there is a link. I know you think global warming is a hoax, but it’s real, it’s getting worse, and humans are the cause. As long as Dubya denies global warming, and does nothing to combat it, then it continues, and that’s why hurricanes will be stronger, the oceans they whip up will be higher, and the Santa Ana winds that fuel the fire in SoCal will be stronger.
Of course, you’re free to believe that everything is fine in the world, and that all the "problems" raised by intelligent people are just liberal smokescreens and hoaxes perpetrated by enemies of "good americans" like you and your hypocrite friends.

I don’t like Bush, but I would say that blaming him for a wild fire or causing a hurricane is just ridiculous. Blaming god would make more sense. Anyhow, the conditions in California were ripe for a wild fire, especially with the hot Santa Ana winds. I lost my house 4 years ago in the wildfire in the same Lake Arrowhead area that burns again this time. I have personally suffered, but I would not blame Bush for causing it. Especially when some of these fires were set by arsonists. The one that took my home was a fire set by an arsonist. Unless Bush was the arsonist, he is not personally to blame.

Oh come now. You know that Bush is responsible for everything today according to some people. I’m sure he’s even responsiblel for them contracting AIDS or cancer too or their gum disease.
