Tornado Questions
there is lightning in like a mile or two from my house lightning is striking but, a few yards behind all the clouds, everything is bright and sunny? THen i walked by and there were clouds looking like to form a tornado i need help is it a tornado or not? and my weather channel says that it’s warm and clear im in southern california .

No tornado warnings for your area. There are a few storms just south of Corona and and east of Temecula Ca.Stronger cell located north of Adelanto. None of them show any signs of rotation. It probably is scud clouds rising up to the cloud base. The storms are moving east

Here is some information I have found about Southern California’s status – http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/graphical/sectors/southcalifornia.php
There appears to be some showers off to the Southeast Califonian area, but nothing severe.
