I dream about tornadoes all the time?

We’ve all had weird dreams from time to time but for the last decade or so Ive had reoccurring dreams about a tornado. I will be dreaming about something not even relating to bad weather and everything is good and the all of a sudden I look out a window and I can actually see the funnel cloud forming far enough away from all of us. I always get really scared and I panic to get everyone with me to safety. I start scrambling to find everyone to get them out of the house and it keeps coming closer and closer.The dream usually ends with the tornado either passing over us or completely disappearing. And no one ever gets hurt. Any answers will be appreciated!

thats ok, fear dreams let you find out more about yourself… my dreams are often envolving a not so averted disaster lol but its ok… i wake up and it was just a dream… but nevermind that… tornadoes are a massive power force on earth… and they have been described closely to represent toaism… maybe u want to study more about taoism and understand more about the power within you and how to use it in stead of cowering in fright and loosing the tornado… just an idea… i used to also have dreams of tidal waves and slowing them down getting just over the crest and seeing nothing there, but other times being taken to new places, kind of like sneaking into a special library or a beautiful courtyard by which the only way is to beat your fears… good luck..

Ok I looked up tornadoes in two different dream books and didn’t find them mentioned. I also looked under weather. This is under storm, hurricane, shelter, wind. Parker’s Complete Book of Dreams states "A dream may contain comments on the climate of a personal relationship. A tiff with a loved one may turn into a dream storm or even a hurricane, but there may be clues to avoiding the worst of the weather. For example, were you sheltered or looking for shelter? Did the sun eventually shine through the clouds? Wind may represent change or a need for change – we speak of blowing away the cobwebs. In this instance, for you personally, I don’t think this quite fits. (but I thought I would include it) I see tornadoes as a force of destruction and chaos. And since you are having more than one dream with tornadoes in them I’d have to ask if you’re prone to excessive worry, anxiety or panic attacks in real life. In your dream the tornado is still far away that you can safely get to shelter without all the scrambling. And since it usually passes over or disappears I think it might be your mind’s way of saying that you’re worrying for nothing.
It’s also pretty standard in dream interpretation for the house or shelter to be a symbol of yourself. Maybe you only feel secure and safe with your loved ones with you.
I may be completely off base, but this is what I see, and it’s really for you to decide.

To dream that you are in a tornado, means that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. Your plans will be filled with much complications and you will be met with a series of disappointments.
To see several tornadoes in your dream, represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.
