How does severe storms and tornadoes form?

I have always wondered how they form when I was little I freaked if they said chances of severe weather now I want to know how they form.

most of it really depends on how much instibility builds up in the atmosphere, then you got the high temperatures that are included with that. once the instibility and temperatures combine into each other then you get severe thunderstorms and that is how severe thunderstorms develop.
tornadoes can develop rapidly in severe thunderstorms, first you got the instibility and the temperatures to help support the storms to develop and become severe. now all you need is strong wind shear and updrafts to produce tornadoes when you got all those three words in the picture that is pretty much you need for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes to form and develop
