How can I convert flv files to other format without artifacts?
I use total video converter v3 to convert flv files to other formats for a long time now usually to mp4 format before.I have not use tvc for many months from my start menu until yesterday. I converted a flv file which i downloaded then converted it to the usual format i like (mp4). After the conversion I played the video but with lots of garbage and artifacts. You cant barely see any scene due to the noises. I tried huge range of other formats like flv-avi,flv-mpg and etc. but still same outputs. What’s going on suddenly?
To be clear, my system has lot of changes in the past few months including frequent updating of Klite mega codec pack. Maybe that’s the culprit. I also recently change my video card to Inno3d tornado geforce fx5500. But I dont think that’s the problem because I can convert other formats like avi-to mp4 perfectly and other formats except flv to other format..
What I do know is that total video converter offers same features converting wide variety of formats to and from whether it is video or audio just like other multi format converters. I am using it for a very long time. I dont know why it flawed the conversions of flv to other formats. It does not happened before when I convert flv files until just recently. Is it a codec issue that I installed?

Because FLV is a compressed video format, you can`t add the video quality when u convert it to other format.
Or U can try to use Aimersoft video converter to try it again. It always works well for me and I don`t know if it can help U.
