How awkward………………………………..?
Well, I’ve never had this one happen before !!!!!
I’ve had people say that they attached pictures, and then they didn’t (they forgot), I’ve had poor quality pictures sent, but not this…. this is a first. LOL.
I inquired to an ad earlier about a TB mare… and they just replied to my email… with some more info and some pictures of ”her”……
One picture is of two guys at what appears to be a party, with a bunch of beers and their shirts off, and giving the camera a thumbs up…. LOL! And the other picture is of them taping some beer bottles together… (looks like they might be making one of those tornado things? I’ve done that before with a couple of empty forty bottles, but still… how strange…)
What should I say???? I mean I don’t want to blow it with what could be a good horse, but damn these pictures are awkward!
Just say "oh, you sent completely wrong pictures?". But then they will go in their sent box and see what the pictures were, and probably be embarrassed or something.
awkwardness……. What should I say?? LOL. I wonder if they figured it out already or not.
Yeah…. they were pretty hot. LOL. Maybe I will get some perks if I get that mare :O

Email back and tell them they have accidentally sent pictures of their studs, and that you wanted pictures of their mare. hehehehe

U should tell them that the email didn’t go through or that the picture wouldn’t load and ask if they coils resend it, then, they will catch their mistake and send you the right one!

I would just sent them an email stating "I believe you sent me the wrong pictures. The email didn’t contain any pictures of horses. Could you please provide. Thanks."
And then I would save those pictures and say "this is the ‘stud’ I’m buying!" (I know you’re not buying a stud but…)
Horse people will get it, others will look at your awkwardly, but it’ll still be funny!

Tell them you didn’t get pictures of the horse. If they are ‘for real’ they will send you the pics you want. If they don’t respond, or send other inappropriate pictures, they probably don’t have a horse for sale and are messing with you for ‘fun’.

Just email them and tell them that they sent you the wrong pictures. And that the pics they sent you were of some sort of a get together with friends instead of horse pictures. And just act cool about it.

Just reply back and say that you are sure they didn’t mean to send those and that you don’t mind because you know mistakes happen. Just remember to say you are still interested in the mare and ask for the right pictures.

well i don’t think you really have a choice. if you say "oh hey, your horse looks great!" and then they see they sent the wrong pictures, they’ll know you’re lying. and if you don’t reply, you’ll miss the opportunity for a potentially great horse. i would just say something like "i think you sent the wrong pictures by mistake!". or "wow, your horse sure does know how to party!" juuuuust kidding. don’t say that LOL.
you *could* just email them saying the pictures won’t open on your computer or their email never came through, but if they realize those are the pictures they sent, it might be really obvious you’re lying to cover their embarrassment.

LOL. Just reply with "I think you sent me the wrong pictures. Theres no horses in there" That must been a shock to open. Lol

i would try get them to resend photos of the HORSE so that you don’t potentially miss out.

Don’t even mention the pictures. Just say, "For some reason I couldn’t open the pictures. Do you mind trying to send them to me again?" It will make everything more comfortable for both of you.

Just say that that the pictures didn’t go through, or those pictures don’t seem like the right ones.

Anywho, I agree with the previous posters…. I think the best would be to just assume the best of them, that they accidently uploaded the wrong photos. Just be nice and polite about it, because if you do end up wanting to buy the horse you want to make a good impression now lol
Just be like, "Thanks for replying promptly about my request for pictures, but I think that you accidentally sent the wrong pictures, none of them were pictures of ‘insert horse’s name here.’ Just wanted to let you know, and I’d still love to see some pictures of her if you could. Thanks in advance!" And then just leave it like that. Even if they are embarrassed about the pictures, it would be better than missing out on the perfect horse for you maybe….
Haha, maybe you will end up buying the people’s horses and getting to know them pretty well and it will be a really funny random story to laugh at with them. You never know! Lol, but in any case, this one has to go down in the books for the best random response to a horse add ever. LOL. Did they write anything in the email they sent with the pictures? Like did they give you any more info on the mare, or was it just a blank email with the pictures attached? That is so random….

Hysterical – the very reason why these days I check and double check
Although I did once have a muck up. I was selling a horse a few years ago and the lady asked for my size stats so she could make a comparison of how she would look on the horse (she planned on buying sight unseen).
I sent some photos of what I though was me riding him and she replied "unless your a man, I did not get the right photo’s. And my bums bigger than his".
I quickly checked what I had sent and found they were photo’s of my brother in-law riding that horse on the same weekend and not me. I had a chuckle and sent her the correct photo’s. She emailed back and said "my bums bigger than yours too!" She was a very funny woman.
I would just email back and say – it looks like you had a good party, but I did not get the photo’s of the horse?
It will show you have a good sense of humour too and they will get a chuckle. Because it is highly unlikely that she is some old posh lady with photo’s like that on her computer anyway. LOL
But they WILL think you are weird if they discover it first and you have not corrected them. LOL

I would tell them that the files won’t open for some reason. When they resend them, hopefully they won’t make the same mistake. They won’t be embarrassed because they’ll think you couldn’t see them. If they DO make the same mistake again, you’re back where you started… no harm done.
