Tornado Shelters
The tornado sirenes are going off and I have no ride to the shelter, what should I do?
I don’t have any closets

If you’re Bobby the Wolf, I know the state in which you live. I checked the weather maps and saw that you are, indeed, under a tornado watch, and one storm in particular looks really nasty.
Bobby, get into a basement or the tub quickly, like right now! Do as the others have suggested, pull a mattress over you. Please, just get off this computer and find shelter immediately.

Get in the bathtub, put your bed mattresses on top of you, and put your head down, cover your head with your arms.

Stay away from windows. Do not go into corners or under anything heavy that might fall. Go someplace secure, like a doorway, or if you have a basement go down there into a corner.
Do not hide under stairs, in closets, under beds, or anywhere else where you could get squished.

Stay clam and take shelter in a doorway or if you have time in a bathtub with a matress to cover you.

Hey Bobby- next time, climb into the bathtub and if you can, put a mattress over you – twin matress works best.
You don’t want a closet anyway – you want a bathroom or basement, or at worst case, a ditch.
