An F5 (now reclassified ef5) contains winds over 200 mph.

It is now classifies as an EF5 and it has to do with how much damage is created by the tornado. It would take winds to reach over 200 mph and there would be LOTS of damage including all kinds of cars being thrown around and houses being moved off of foundations and leveled.

An F5 tornado (now called eF5) is a tornado with wind speeds of 261 to 319 mph. Its also the strongest tornado on the Enhanced Fujita Scale of Tornado Intensity. meaning that it causes the most amount of damage and is the most dangerous. Strong frame houses lifted off foundations and carried considerable distances to disintegrate; automobile sized missiles fly through the air in excess of 100 meters; trees debarked; steel re-inforced concrete structures badly damaged.
