Can you buy car insurance After athe accident? Life insurance After you die? Homeowners insurance After the?
Tornado? Why in the Heck should Health Insurance be any different?
If you could, it is no longer Insurance, but a care plan! Like a maintenance agreement on an appliance or car. Even those require a check-up for pre existing conditions to be repaired at your cost Before coverage begins if the appliance is not new!
Ok, Fred, Your statement proves my point! If we are paying for it now, what is the rush to pass this monstrosity of a bill that NO ONE can claim to have read, and you know the President is not going to read before he signs!
No one is being denied critical care een if they are penniless,. Does the system need fixing? Yes! Cn the government make it better? My bet is a resounding HELL NO!

Slow down. Libs can’t understand this concept. All they hear is "no one should be denied based on pre-existing conditions" and it sound nice. That is their only criteria.

That is exactly the point, precisely. Don’t worry they will tax you after you die to pay for it. Kinda like what you are descibing. At least you won’t have to pay, it’s only your kids that will be stuck with the Dims death tax… coming soon to buy healthcare for the bums near you.

Are you serious? You are comparing someone’s health, a condition that they will always have, with an event that would not be covered, but future events that are exactly the same would be if you bought insurance? I guess you just expect someone who has an illness to either not get treatment ever or go into serious debt. There are people that have these conditions that did have insurance. That doesn’t help business owners. My brother was covered when he was diagnosed with diabetes. His premiums keep going up and up, because he is self employed. I know many other people in similar situations. You people have no idea how things in this world work. You live in your little bubble.
