Am i a weather psychic?
At the beginning of this school year, my history teacher asked us to put a day on the "snow calendar" that we think we’re going to get off due to inclimate weather. If that day turns out to be correct, we get 2 extra credit points. Well, for some reason, something kept telling me that something was going to happen on Friday, February 5. I live in Fairfax, VA just outside of Washington, DC and that date turned out to be the biggest snowfall our region has ever experienced! I was shocked to find out that i had chosen this date way back on September 9. Somehow, I just knew something would happen that day. Also, I lived in Omaha, NE from 2005-2006 and one day during the spring of ’06, I woke up to a rainy morning. For some reason, I kept thinking there’d be a tornado even though the weather wasn’t "tornadoey" at all. Well, my instinct turned out to be correct there too. As I got home from school, the tornado sirens started blaring and I ran home to check the weather report. Turns out a freak thunderstorm had developed and dropped a tornado in the western suburb of Elkhorn. I was shocked. But this latest prediction of the Feb. 5-6 snowstorm still is confusing me. Could I be really a "weather psychic"? or am i just really good at guessing ha?

i think that we are all psychic in some way or another, its just whether or not any of us choose to use it and develop it.
you may very well have a sixth sense that is inclined towards weather. it also may just be coincidence.
what you could try is getting yourself a notebook. make sure its a notebook that you can keep completely separate from your other notebooks so you dont get it mixed up with school stuff. at the beginning of the week or month or whatever period of time you choose, write down what you think the weather will be like on each day.
for example you could write "Monday will be cloudy, and it will rain around 3:15 in the afternoon. Tuesday will be cloudy again, but there will be no rain" or however you want to put it. then at the end of the day, see if you were correct or not. that way you can learn to tell if there are any patterns in your predictions. for example, are you best at just predicting bigger storms? or can you guess temperatures? things like that. try doing it at different times in the day too, like, one week write your predictions on sunday morning, then the next week write them in the afternoon or something.
it may sound like a bit of work, but i try to encourage everyone who suspects they might want to develop any psychic powers they have to keep some kind of journal about it. that way you will have records and things so you know what works best for you, and if different things can affect your feelings at all.
like i said. i think everyone is at least a little bit psychic. so yeah you might have something going on. its up to you whether or not you want to try and develop it at all

You hit a weeklong snowstorm, my guess is that you got lucky.

A lot of people, like animals, can sense coming weather. For example, around an hour before earthquakes hit, animals begin to go wild. Also, when they sense a storm coming they lay down. We are animals (though it seems we’re not). I, too, have had similar experiences. I’m sorry to bum you out.
But science proves it.

we are all psychics
we are mammals and our brain is way more developed than any other animal (or so we know)
if humans can learn to use their brain to the full potential you will understand that this isn’t really something special.
i always get sleepy before a rainy weather or snowy weather starts … even if its 2 days or more away.
you can never predict weather .you can sense it

I’ve heard of people who can predict weather like you, and I find it kind of logical. I’m sure there will be some ass-hole answer to this question, saying psychic is stupid or some shit… but animals can predict tornadoes, storms, etc. They used to bring cats on ships to not only kill rats but predict the weather! So who’s to say some humans don’t have this same connection with weather?

there are people who can smell humidity, and somehow they can usually predict the weather quite well
