my husband and 3 small children want to move towards my step son’s home in Murfreesboro TN. I have been there once before. And fell to the floor seeing housing being rented so cheap. I currently live in California. I’d like some unbiased thoughts from others on this area.. and yes I am aware of Tornado s and such
this is a kind of the imagination. asteroid attack, lightning attack,earth quake,volcano attack,hurricane attack,storm attack,tornado attack,flood or tsunami attack,animals&birds attack all are coming same to earth .the result.

The Mosquito-Due to malaria carrying parasites transferred by the mosquito, it is responsible for the deaths of more than two million people per year. Box Jellyfish-Also known as the wasp jellyfish, this salad-bowl sized jellyfish can have up to 60 tentacles as long as 15 feet. Each tentacle has enough toxin to kill 50 humans. They are found in Australia, the Philippines, and many other tropical areas. Since 1884 at least 5,567 deaths have been attributed to these creatures.
Great White Shark-This shark is an exceptionally large shark found in coastal waters in all major oceans. It can reach lengths of up to 6 metres and can weigh up to 5 tons. The Great White Shark is the worlds largest known predatory fish. It is the only surviving species of its genus. In general these creatures do not attack humans, and (while there have been some fatalities) the majority of attacks on humans are believed to be test bites – the Great White Shark are known to test bite other objects in order to determine what they are. More people are killed each year in the US by dogs than Great White Sharks in the last 100 years.
African Lion-The African Lion can reach up to half a ton. Lions are thought to kill up to 70 humans per year in Tanzania. These large animals are eclipsed in size only slightly by the tiger.
Saltwater Crocodile-This is the largest of all living reptiles and is found mainly in Northern Australia and Southeast Asia. A healthy adult is typically 4.8 – 7 metres (15.75ft – 21ft) long, weighing up to 1.6 tons. There have been reports of larger. This creature is capable of killing and eating animals up tot he size of a water buffalo. In its most deadly attack (called the Death Roll) the crocodile grabs an animal or human with its mouth and begins to roll. A 1ton stallion is known to have been killed by this method in under 1 minute. In the water, the crocodile can move as fast as a dolphin.
Elephant-African Elephants, with their sharp tusks, are not as friendly as many believe. They kill over 500 people per year (either by stomping or impaling). The African Elephant generally weighs in at 16 tons.
Polar Bear-These massive creatures, native to the Arctic, regularly eat elephant seals and could cut off a human head with one swipe of its paw. The Polar Bear is the most carnivorous of all the Bears and will eat walruses, whales, rheindeer, and even other polar beers
Cape Buffalo-Cape buffalos weigh 1.5 tons and, when faced by danger, attack head on with razor sharp horns. They stand up to 1.7 metres high and 2.8 metres long. Humans are virtually its only predator and even lions will avoid crossing their path. Every year the Cape Buffalo is known to maul and kill multiple humans; some believe that it kills more humans in Africa every year than any other creature.
Poison Dart Frog-The backs of the poison dart frog ooze a slimy neurotoxin that is meant to keep predators away. Each frog produces enough of the toxin to kill 10 humans, though, strangely, in captivity, the frogs do not secrete this poison. The frogs are brilliantly coloured and live mainly in Central and South America.
Animal Attack Contender – The King Cobra
The king cobra is the longest venomous snake on Earth and it knows how to use that size. The cobra is not as deadly as the mamba, but it is capable of injecting copious amounts of venom. This huge reptile can raise up to four feet off the ground while spreading its hood, and can move forward to strike from that same position. That makes for a very deadly, dangerous striking mechanism.

We all know that hurricanes can spawn a lot of very weak, and short lived tornadoes. Hurricane Beulah spawned well over 200 tornadoes, at time a record which stood until 2004. However, in 2004 Francis and Ivan became the 1st and second most tornadoes from a hurricane ever recorded. There was a lot of video cameras in 2004, and with more recent technology such as youtube, etc, hurricanes that formed later on, such as Ike, Dolly, Alex, etc also spawned tornadoes. I live in Coastal Texas and most of the tornadoes that we get are from landfalling tropical systems. Are the tornadoes that form with hurricanes so weak and such short lived that it is nearly impossible to see them?

We are thinking of travelling to Puerto Rico this Fall. How is October? Is November better or worse? Is hurricane season a significant risk?
Websites seems to say that November is still hurricane season, but biggest risk is in August, September and October. Anyone have any experience with this?

My first symptoms of anxiety started at the age of 9, when after seeing some reports on TV about tornadoes forming around my town I started being afraid that whenever it was cloudy there would be a tornado even though I live in an area supposedly free of tornadoes. I panicked a lot whenever it got cloudy and would often be scared. I can’t remember how long it lasted.
Now I’m 16 and have been a hypocondriac for 2 years almost with frequent panic attacks.
Is it possible for anxiety disorders to start for almost no reason during childhood and to just be absent for a couple of years afterwards? Also, is this an indication of a heart problem? I heard certain heart problems can cause anxiety. I did get checked out by a doctor regarding my heart. She ordered an ECG which was normal and she said she heard no abnormal heartbeats when she listened to my heart.

I hear reports of hundreds of people dying and thousands more injured and lost there homes. Normally there is one Severe Tornado but there are so much this year.
Could the whirling, spinning, and static electricity of atmospheric tornadoes be the cause of complex replicator molecules twisting around each other?
What state has the least extreme weather, like hurricanes and tornados and stuff, i always thaought it was California, cause all they have are earthquakes. (and by the way are earthquakes in california even that bad or deadly?)

I’m going insane! Summer break just began and school is out!!! Roy, I can’t explain how I got feelings for him! I can’t even explain how much I care for him! He’s a sweet funny guy whose really tall! ( either that or everyone is just short now! Haha!) we play around with each other and our way of saying hi is flipping each other off!! It’s really funny! Thursday was the last day of school. We were on the bus and for some reason, we were the only ones not talking, while everyone else was screaming. He was sitting in the back when I took this great picture!! You can’t see him though. I’ll put up a link for it later! But anyways, when we got to the first bus stop. He moved to the seat right behind me. He does that because he likes to talk to me and my friends after his friends are gone. But he usually sits behind the seat I sit in anyways. We have a pretty strong friendship and I don’t want to ruin so I haven’t told him yet. I was about to tell him how I felt so I turned around. When I turned around I said " Roy?" and when he turned around and I looked into those big brown eyes, I froze!! I Was so embarrassed!! So then I said " Oh!!" then I flipped him off. Then we both laughed! When I got to my bus stop he moved 2 seats forward ( he switches seats a lot! Haha!) and he stayed standing and then he HUGGED me!! He doesn’t hug anyone!! He also hugged my friend Hannah but that was a small hug. I was soo haPpy!! I got off the bus and thought I was dreaming. Then I feel off a curb and I’m not sure if he saw me but I just started laughing! ( I fall off of everything but it started more often when I started crushing on him. Am I in a dazz because off it?) he is on his way to Texas (he isn’t moving I think he is visiting family) and I’ve been talking to him on facebook while he was on his way. He seems sad he probably doesn’t wanna go. I’m worrying about him ( and my gramma!) because of all the tornadoes lately. But I bet he will be fine. Should I tell him I like him?

Severe Thunderstorms and Tornadoes. Hate 'em! Anyone else scared to death of them? How do you cope?

I am absolutely terrified of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. Omg I can’t tell you how much they freak me out. I’m from California and I moved to the western part of South Dakota almost 2 years ago and I’m still not used to the storms. My mom grew up here but spent 20 years in Cali and she is also scared of storms. Not near as bad as me though haha. Tomorrow there is a 60%-70% chance of severe storms and I am so anxious! I obsessively check the radar for hours and pace back and forth by the window when I see that infamous shelf cloud come marching toward me. My stomach feels like it’s in knots and I start uncontrollably thinking of the WORST scenarios. Ugh! It’s making me miserable. Every time they predict severe storms in the forecast I can’t be completely calm and at ease until the storms are over. They usually give you a heads up a day ahead of time so I spend the good sunny day thinking, "Oh well tomorrow’s gonna suck hard. I hope we make it out alive."
I live out in the country in a very rural area. The house I live in is quite old and needs to be remodeled and doesn’t feel as safe to me like a newer house does. I have one of those basements where one side is completely underground and the other side is only half way underground. Idk, doesn’t feel that safe to me to be honest. It so PISSES me off cause when me and my mom are at our house when a storm hits I’m almost on the edge of tears and scared to hell. BUT when I’m in the city or where there are a lot of people around I feel safe and calm. What the hell? Why can’t I feel like that at home?!
I wish I could learn to love the hell outta thunderstorms like the storm chasers. I just don’t want this fear to take over my summer again. My mom agreed that in the future whenever severe/strong storms are predicted for our area we are gonna drive into the city (which is like 1.5 hours away) and spend the night in a hotel. Haha it’s crazy, I know, but the city comforts me like no other.
Well, I’m gonna have to deal with the apocalypse tomorrow and I need some coping methods.
Is anyone else scared/use to be scared of storms and tornadoes? How do you cope?
Any kind advice is appreciated

And this is an every night thing. The scenario changes everytime.
Last night’s scared the crap out of me. I’ll describe here:
My grandma, a friend, and I had gone to a hair salon to get me layers and dye my hair blue. Hours later, after my hair was drying, I look out a window and see a huge dark cloud with an tornado reaching down to the ground – what people call a "wedge tornado". We, including the hair professional, ran outside, and realize that another tornado had been forming right behind us. All of a sudden, the area erupted in fire, and I ended up being pushed to safety by the hair professional with her behind me – leaving my friend and my grandma behind. I watched the tornado suck my friend and my grandma up, and kill them. I don’t remember what happened after that because I had shot straight awake.
The scenario starts out like this in all of them though: happy, calm, then dark and dangerous with a tornado reaching to the ground. The situation in the dream is always different: party at friends, hair salon, shopping, sisters house, but a tornado is always appearing in the dreams. Sometimes somebody dies, but not always, and when somebody does die, it’s a person in my close family who I love very much. I never die in my dreams.
So, can somebody please tell me why I keep having these dreams? I started a couple of weeks ago, and it’s gotten worse since the 3 severe weather storms we had only two nights ago.

I’m in Georgia I should say, so not close to Missouri. And I haven’t been watching the news at all about it. I heard about the tornado, and didn’t want to hear about it. Tornadoes scare the crap out of me. And if it makes any difference, my brother is stationed in Missouri. >_>
I have a facebook re: photos found in the debris of the Joplin Tornado. I have "liked" a lot of related pages, but when I have a update or info I need to post on other groups, I have to manually go to each page and post the link/info. Is there a way to post to pages I have liked or do I have to go to each one and copy/paste the link?
